Barkley has done Gameday before while being on Inside the NBA, so I doubt that is a barrier for Shaq to be the picker.
I would have preferred Shaq as a picker, but Zion is definitely not a bad choice.

I don't care if the guest picker has LSU ties, but I would like them to at least have Louisiana ties. I wouldn't care if they picked Zion, I would think it would be cool to be honest, but it would make more sense a few years from now when Zion is considered to "one of us" a tiny bit more.
