I agree with everyone in here, and JD himself, in saying that we need to push the ball down the field. But let’s take a second to recognize that at this point in the season we are 4-1 and JD has thrown a total of ZERO interceptions. That’s above and beyond the expectations I initially had for him.

Now it’s time to open up the playbook and play a little ball. He has the ability to throw a great long ball and I thing good things are to come. Geaux Tigers!

Did you know Hendon Hooker is balling out passing the ball and also has ZERO INTERCEPTIONS?

It would be impressive if he was leading an effective passing attack.

I view the 0 interceptions more like a basketball player who plays forty minutes and has zero fouls. Usually that means they aren't playing much defense.

Not surprising… When you don’t throw a pass beyond 5 yards down the field.

45 TD and 2 INT since taking the job last year. Quite frankly, incredible.

You neglected to say he played one less game. and has those 200 more yards on 20 fewer passing attempts (notably only 7 fewer completions).

You can actually think Daniels doesn't suck and still recognize that Hooker is better.

By no means has Daniels been horrible. But LSU's offense has been far from explosive and very reliant on the defense to keep them in games (and score) until the offense can do just enough get in a position to win (usually late). When you score 3, 7, 7, first half points in the 3 games you play against decent competition (but by no means great) you put a lot of stress on your defense.

Daniels is last in the SEC in yards per attempt and LSU only has one WR (Nabers) in the top 30 of the league in receiving yards. When the WR group is thought to be the most talented group on the offense, maybe the team, you have to find ways to get them the ball consistently. Daniels' running ability should be an added weapon...not the primary offensive course of attack.

For YEARS Les Miles prioritized avoiding turnovers at the expense of an explosive offense. The result was largely unmet potential. I'd gladly take a few interceptions here and there if the pay off was 250+ ypg and 2-3 TDs per game.

Bringing up and braggin about "Zero interceptions' is ridiculous. He has one pass that went over 30 yards in the air. " ONE PASS" All his passes have been 15 yards or less.

At that type of throws, HE better have zero interceptions.

Do you have a point about JD5's ability to play the position or just want to thrall over 0 interceptions? BFD. LSU is preparing to enter SEC games with competent defenses. Let's see what he does against those?

0 interceptions....

BK said he’s ok with an interception if it is the result of an aggressive pass attempt

And hasn't thrown a TD since before half-time of the State game. We're way too stacked at WR for these kinda numbers.

The defense is going to be seriously challenged by tebn.

Wish major burns wasn't hurt.

Going to have to stick a spy on hooker.

Baskerville or perkins will have to step up.

Hendon Hooker may be the best QB in college football who is 24 years old and in his 2nd season in his offense. I’d love to have him, but he was not available.
