Zach is one of the most decorated players ever in the state of Louisiana, he has all the trophies to prove it. Zach knows what it takes to win, and the most fiercest competitor you will ever see. Joe Burrow had that. It would be wise to listen.

What recruits may be thinking is why should I come play and beat up my body for a fan base that wants to fire a coach who won the SEC West his first year that inherited a dumpster fire to boot. It's fans like you that scream the loudest when we miss on recruits. The irony is you are part of the reason we lose some recruits.

Here’s the way I see it:
- If he simply says “we need to coach better,” the reaction is “he doesn’t have any answers!” See Ed Orgeron’s press conferences circa 2020-2021.
- If he talks about players needing to execute better, he’s throwing them under the bus.
- If he talks about some specific thing they’re going to do to fix the problem it’s “why didn’t you do that BEFORE giving up 700 yards?”
- If he says Matt House sucks, he’s the guy who hired him. Also all hell would break loose because that kind of finger pointing among the coaching staff mid-season only happens at the most dysfunctional programs.
- If he says “we need to put some new bodies out there” it’s “WHY DIDN’T YOU ALREADY DO THAT?”
There is absolutely nothing Brian Kelly, or any other LSU coach, can say to appease the fan base after giving up 700+ yards. Whatever he says will be scrutinized, no matter what.
I’m not saying fans shouldn’t be mad about the defensive performance. They should be. I certainly am. I just think all of the hand-wringing over the press conference itself is a little silly.

Zach should replace Saban when he retires if we listened to you. So a punter can fix the dumster fire O left, improve our recruiting, our defense and get us the money to out bid Texas and A&M. Man SEC powerhouses will be storming his door to hire this punter soon.
