I'll blindly pull for them obviously but my authentic interest is somewhere between slim to none and slim left town.

This. I don't understand why it's such a difficult concept for many LSU "fans."

I want LSU to win big time in any sport they participate in. Doesn't matter if it's Football or Tiddly Winks. My attendence interest is with mostly football though, with some basketball and baseball. If I still lived in Louisiana, I'd attend more minor sports.

I boycott any LSU sport where I feel the coaching is incompetent.

No reason for LSU not to be superior in all sports what with the finances, support and facilities. The only reason for mediocrity in any LSU sport is inferior recruiting/coaching.

I'm a big fastpitch softball fan. I just really enjoy the strategy and the speed of the game.

I like competitive sports, period, and don't generally give a flying frick whether men or women are playing.

One of the best and most involved crowds I ever saw was a women's preseason BB game. It was Texas' Lady Longhorns preseason tuneup the year after their undefeated title run in the mid-80's. The opponent was the Olympic gold meal winning Soviet women's team, and they'd been destroying everyone on a US tour, including a 40-something point win over LSU. Sorta like Rocky vs. Ivan. It was decided with two seconds left and crowd noise was right there with Dale Brown's men's games against UNLV and Loyola at home (yes, I was there too).

Unfortunately, LSU women's sports haven't done as well lately as in times past and I don't live in BR anymore so it's hard to follow any LSU squad that doesn't get major media exposure, which basically means just football at this point.

Loved going to the LSU women's basketball games when I lived down there but didnt get the opportunity to go to many other Women's sports. If ever move back down south, I will do my best to support all the Women's sports as someone said prior to me, I support all LSU student athletes not just the major sports.

In the 60's, women's basketball played right before the men's game. This was done in Jr.high and high school. We loved to watch the girls in shorts gear. I think the attendance would increase a lot with women's and men playing the visiting team back to back on the same night. ,Maybe even Jr. varsity early about 4:00 too.

My mother was an All American BB player back in the 40's so I have no hate for female athletes. But when the law of the land dictates that an All American Todd Walker, in a revenue generating sport, gets only a 1/3 scholly at best, and the 3rd string catcher on the ladies team gets a full ride, I have no interest as a matter of principal.

That's why I posted it. I actually do care a little bit

Remove gender from the equation. Let's just have one team per sport and let the best athletes play. Only then can we have true gender equality. I think I remember reading somewhere that separate was inherently unequal... If women aren't good enough to make the school's basketball/tennis/golf/swim teams then so be it.

I like to see the WBB and softball do well and will watch if They make NCAA postseason. I might pay more attention to the new Sand Volleyball team. Great sport with outstanding athletes.

I just watched video of the last event, and it was pretty badass. I think I will watch the meet against Florida with my daughters.

Zero....it exists only because of an unfair piece of legislation. They steal from the men's program,, period. The football fans pick up the tab.

The only people I have ever heard express an interest are the families and the alternative lifestyle crowd.

The only women's basketball game I've been to in the PMAC was in 2003 when they lost to Tennessee in front of that record crowd.

I'm not eager to dislike women's sports; it just doesn't register very high for me. I enjoyed watching the softball team in the College World Series a few times but don't follow during the season. This is probably a good year to give gymnastics a chance.
