If you want to empower your daughter.. she needs to be independent.
THIS. Independence is not requiring a law forcing large amounts to be spent funding women's sports at a huge loss simply because the men's sports make enough money to make up for it.

if they just came to grips with the fact that your everyday joe doesn't give a shite about the women's sports. It's family that care. Sorry.
Man, those gymnasts have a lot of family.
In fact, all LSU sports(except T/F, tennis, and S/D who don't sell season tickets) have a group of loyal and dedicated season ticket holders, not just family members of the athletes. Football and baseball may be the biggest, but softball, women's basketball, and particularly gymnastics draw decent crowds.

She already has.
They're going to be good every single year.

i love how I pointed out how fricking stupid it sounds to say "I could care less" and two dumbasses follow up by repeating it.
Good to see some of you care enough about the girls to the point you could actually care less.

I like them all to succeed and follow thru media reports. Would never attend a women's event again unless I could throw a paper airplane thru a sunroof and drive away in the car.....

Zero cares. Could win every game in every sport and I wouldn't watch.

I am at a six or seven, its not that I would not have any interest, but i think the programs need to be marketed better but .

Zero.
Watching the bball team is nauseating. Fundamentally its like watching 12 year old boys play.

It's pretty odd/sad that most of our fans feel like this.
I wonder how many of them actually attended LSU.

I'd rather pay a WBB coach 200k and spend the difference on assistant coach for men's team

I have moderate interest in WBB and SB at tournament time. As for the other women's sports, I prefer hearing they've done, or are doing well than hearing they aren't doing well.

Women's sports are an atrocious waste of money .. Title IX was/is horrible for college sports ..
