I remember when Orgeron took over he cited quicker, easier practices during the week as something he would install and the players loved it. Said they weren't as tired for games as they were under Les.

Main thing is LSU had to spend a week in Houston out of their comfort zone due to hurricane

amazing that people think that LSU with BK won't be super successful

Yup, it's funny. Most people are coming out and saying they think he won't be......

We know why....it's all of the different fanbases echo chambers trying to convince themselves that he won't be.....bc deep down.......they effing KNOW what's coming

I didn’t realize until months later all of the travel issues that impacted the game. It was obviously more than just camp legs.

Can you elaborate?

Les had his faults, but he did always have our teams in endurance shape especially in 2011 to get ready for the Oregon Ducks.

What did he say that was false? He’s right.

Want another example? The Kentucky game

If the UCLA game wasn’t an asskicking, the Kentucky game certainly was.

Both of those are on Ed. I remember hearing him on the radio show where he said something like “if I knew how to fix it, I would.” Not exactly what you want to hear from the person that’s running the program.

The only argument that could be made is LSU getting left behind in recruiting due to NIL and the much tougher conference.

It looks like, at least initially, recruiting won't be an issue—nothing you can do about the conference getting better.

BK will win a title here. If the playoffs expand and the SEC is getting two, three, or some years even four teams in, he'll be the first coach to win multiple here.

good god you people need help. Some of you act like O personally insulted you

I've never seen a guy burn through so much capital and good will so fast. I was never an "O hater", but he won the lottery and blew it at the track the next day. Some people have a destructive personality and can't sustain success. O most likely is that type.

Did you honestly watch LSU the last two years under O, the product that O put on the field was a complete embarrassment...Take the Blinders off, and No most of the country still thinks of O as "Yah, Yah," Not as a Championship Coach. O Managed to frick up that perception too

Are you speaking of the Coach that won a recent NC with THE greatest college football team to EVER take the field?

Uh no they don’t. Maybe on Reddit where they also think Amy Schumer is a “national treasure”, but most normal people think he’s a dumbass caricature moron who did his best to destroy one of the best programs in college football

I will say this. During the 2019 season there were a number of news stories about some of the metrics that were implemented to maximize performance. They used GPS trackers in the practice gear and used it to tailor practices. At the end of the season players were demonstrating increased performance at the end of the season which was very abnormal. They still use those systems now.

The problem is that after 2019 the staff that held players accountable and managed practices were gone as were some of the best leaders on the team. O was incapable or unwilling to right the ship.
