Slipped in cow manure on this one.

This kid said he knew what was coming and wanted to be a part of it.

It is damn impressive to me that he didn't look for an easy route.

That is the depth player you want on your team. Wants a shot at greatness, not a paycheck.

He has a great opportunity to compete for QB2. One injury away from being a starter. Plus, 2027 is wide open for the job. I assume Leavitt will go pro if he has a good year

Did you not hear his interview with Matt Moscona? Landen stated he welcomes both QBs.

Ideally, LSU will be looking for another starter after 2026. Leavitt will either flop or one and done. Then it is a QB battle.

Hes the kind of kid that strikes me as a Idgaf who is in front of me type of athlete. Im at Lsu and get to be coached by a qb coach and head coach that is a badass.I bet He feels lucky and cant wait to fight it out to get a chance to walk out of that tunnel on a Saturday night to experience the greatest sporting Venue on the planet and play in front of that crowd. Im calling it that he starts before Longstreet

Not at all, he said the staff was transparent about the whole thing.

Worst case scenario for him is never touching the field for LSU but developing under kiffin and weiss and transferring elsewhere.

No. Guys who are competitors don’t get angry when there are good players on the team

He gets to play in Kiffin’s offense next year and be at LSU. No brainer.

Kiffin don’t recruit no pussies on this team . They know what they signing up for . The weak can’t hit the portal which they have already .

You really should background check posts like this before doing it.

I don't think so. He sounds like a grounded guy.

Worst case, he gets into Spring practice and runs with the 2s, gets in the S&C program over the summer, sits and learns Kiffin's system and is in the room with Dane, CWJ, and Lane learning how to be a better QB. He doesn't play and hops in the portal as a much better option for a team that needs a starter.

Best case, he comes into the program and just lights it up and ends up being a starter for LSU.

Neither is bad.

No way. If he studies the offense and lives in that VR room he could be QB1. This isnt the same as the NFL where they have to give that rookie a chance because they spent so much money on him. All those dudes will compete and as Macho Man says "the cream rises to the top"

He was playing home games vs Maine in front of 4k people last year. His whole world has changed for the better. He’s probably more realistic than fans are. The odds will be against him.

Can he throw a baseball?

Seriously though, his HS bio said he was also a d-back and punter

He knows that next year after we win the natty and Leavitt goes pro, it will be a competition between him and Husan
