I like your profile pic Cosmo *tips hat*
I hope they sell a piece of everything they can and funnel all that cash into NIL. Lane's visor during warmups, sunglasses, watch, ipad case, the equipment cart, the turf, the bench, the field goal post, etc etc etc

WE RIDING!!!
Agree 100% there is no reason to play hard games against out of conference opponents.
Tennessee Vols just flipped a 4* from Ohio State

Legend Bey ATH 4*
Have we lost anyone?

I know we flipped Corey Barber from Ole Miss but have we lost any?

Havon Finney 4* CB
Dylan Purter 4*S
Bryson Cooley 4* OT

---Signed---
Jabari Mack 4* WR
Brysten Martinez 4* OT
Corey Barber 4* WR (flipped from Ole Miss)

JC Anderson 4* TE
Ryan Miret 3* OL
Richard Anderson 5* DL
Is Signing Day a relic of the past? If true freshman can hit the very first portal window in January, what is the significance of this signing day period?

We could still heavily pursue that S from Catholic BR even though he signed with Ohio.
I guess they tried it back in '20-21 and ultimately decided to go with Jameis.

He is 6'2" and Ratt is only 6"

Taysom went 7-4 as a starter. Ratt 1-13.
Taysom had 64% completion rate. Ratt 55%.
Taysom passed for 7.8 yds/attempt. Ratt 5.7.

He's 35 now so that is an issue but you are probably right overall, need to move on.
Good take. I tend to lean more towards trading back and building the offensive line first if Shough is they QB you want to build around.

Also not sure why we didnt ever try to build around Taysom. Also not sure why we wouldnt trade away Rattler for picks if we know he isnt our long term solution.
I think we should have traded Ratt for some picks before the deadline. Why didnt we ever build around Taysom more?

We have to beef up our Oline or it doesnt matter who is in there at QB.

Its a bit of a chicken/egg situation. The hardest position to fill is a QB you can build around. So keep drafting QBs until you find the guy you want to build around.

But if you dont have a strong line then even the best QB is going to struggle.
I dont get it, is this a reference to that movie where none of the teammates came to his party?

Draft Thoughts - Mendoza or Trade Back?

Posted by Eagle23 on 11/7/25 at 9:35 am
Imagine Loomis is fired and you are the GM. Do you draft Mendoza or do you trade back and load up on picks to rebuild?

What do you do?

Trade away everyone with value

Gut the team except for Shough and get picks.
Zero RPOs and very few bubble screens. Fast passes. Simple runs. Some middle and some around the end. Find 14. Lots of Berry. MVB like Taysom. Something with a fullback. Random bouts of tempo.
Grok thinks these are the players going in the draft:

Garrett Nussmeier
Harold Perkins Jr.
Patrick Payton
Ashton Stamps
Whit Weeks
Barion Brown
Mansoor Delane
Kaleb Jackson
Nic Anderson
Paul Mubenga
Javien Toviano
Tyree Adams
DJ Chester
Ja'Keem Jackson
Aaron Anderson
Tamarcus Cooley
A.J. Haulcy
Kyle Parker

What players are leaving / graduating?

Do we have a bunch of guys who will be graduating and/or leaving for the draft? Who?

re: Start MVB against Bama

Or maybe you run a dual QB gameplan. Certain plays for MVB and keep him going while he is hot. If he gets stopped then shift to Nuss, back and forth all game. Or just use Nuss in a tempo gameplan with quick short throws.
Yes although the QBs from Oregon, Indiana, Bama, South Carolina and Oklahoma all go before him...

He probably goes in the 4th or 5th round if he sits out.

So maybe he NEEDS to play to improve his draft stock and show that it was a BK and Sloan issue.
