Why, are you saying Davis hasn't taught the talented line how to run block because we had JD and they didn't need to?

I hope you aren't trying to tell me that without a mobile qb that teams can't run the ball, because I watch it all over the screen on Saturday and Sunday. I watched it last 3 years at Ga, I watched it with Michigan last year....so that dog won't hunt if you say we must have a mobile qb to run the ball. That goes on the OL not being good run blockers, and also goes on the rbs not being talented or whatever the hell is going on with them.

To be fair, LE says lots of stuff. It’s hard to discern accuracy from 280k+ posts.

What was once a strength has essentially disappeared, with this OLIne that has at least two top 10 picks on it they should be able to run it on a team like Nicholls

It is because most offenses are switching philosophies to a mobile type QB offense. I don't know if we lined up one time under center last night. The game is evolving and traditional type offenses are going away.

ahhhh, so the last 4 straight national champions that had their qbs average around 15 yards a game....they were just different right? Were they the exception? I'm surprised 40 year old Brady could win superbowls, but then those wheels he had might have made the difference. This is a BS answer. This is a result of our coaching not having a clue how to run an offense without a mobile qb....because other top teams do it just fine.

If you don’t think Bennett and mcarthy are wayyy more mobile and can extend plays better than nuss has shown so far then you definitely don’t know what you are watching.

Well if you actually listened and read the post I said most teams not every team or the top teams . It's a trend I don't disagree with your logic even though you said it snarkinly. If your QB is your leading rusher you have a problem

Two games with one being against a bad team doesn’t prove anything. We averaged 4.5 yards per rush against USC. We weren’t going to show schemes before SEC play vs Nicholls. We rank 8th to last in rushing attempts in the country. 4.5 yards vs USC had us around 50th in the country. Wait til we start using all our blocking schemes before awarding someone like LE credit. Dude throws more poop on the wall than a baby monkey.

That was Richard Dicksons take on Hanny’s post game show. Said the DL was getting under the OL cause they played too high off the snap. Said it looked like they had not been trained for a traditional running game because they didn’t have one the last two years with JD carrying the load. He thought it was technique being taught for a running game that existed the past 2 years and not what we have now with Nuss.

JD drew the attention which helped the other backs when they ran. Dude was a generational talent and people didn’t realize it when he was here

Someone has to explain this

We tried to run with RBs with JD

One thing I have seen you do on here is constantly knight for the mobile qb.

I guess the yards per game average for those guys are incorrect....it is always funny....facts and stats back it up that each of the last 4 NC winning qbs averaged roughly 15 yards a game for the season...on average....I would imagine pretty similar to what Nuss did last night, which was right at 15 yards on 2 carries....if they were wayyy more mobile, and taking advantage of that ability, now wouldn't the numbers be different? I get your agenda, but I don't care about that shite...the fact is that our OC and BK do not know how to call a game without a mobile qb...and other programs have an OC or HC that can.....and ours is making $800K a game. Maybe Nuss is better suited for the NFL where a lot of those championship qbs only run when they have to right?

This is all on offensive coaching.....

I don't know who y'all is, but most people knew losing one of the best running QBs in the history of college football would hurt our ability to run.
