This is a strange callout thread. It’s also a little bit premature. It definitely has the makeup of an excellent defensive group if it comes to fruition.
Edit: im specifically talking about RJ Luis Jr.

I doubt he does but take the chance in the offseason and you're not disrupted like Bama was bringing in Bediako during conference play.

I think the only one who we have to question is RJ Luis Jr. who is probably the most important as well.

I have to admit, this group is surprising. If they are all eligible for classes, this is gonna get interesting come game 1.

Who cares? The NCAA is feckless and the wild, wild west. They enforce nothing and are completely useless. Just let everybody play and do whatever they want, that is where this is going.

I never thought I would hate college sports.

What am I missing here? Don’t know anything about these players. Looks OK but not sure about using the word “stacked”.

90% court sides with Luis Jr. based on the individual merits of his case, and the fact there is precedent relative to similar cases where others got to play, but more so clear differences from the ones that did not get it.

Getting real professionals not young guys that played on some development team for no money in the fourth league of a country most people didn’t even know have pro basketball. They play much more physical and tougher brand of ball and even if you are 21-22 you have been playing pro ball for 5 years probably against grown men a lot of whom either played in the NBA for short stints or had the talent to have a small stint if they wanted.

The raw numbers don’t look eye opening but to me they are because many are their first really year with their big clubs in the Euroleague. For instance Niang is an NBA draftee who two weeks ago is playing against a team like Partizan where the entire arena is calling him the n word and absolutely hell to play in, but nobody cares least of all him that’s their job. The refs in many of these places domestically are paid off and so he would get abused if he wasn’t ready. Going against guys with children that smoke a pack a day of Marlboro reds kinda leagues. He put up like 18 points and 8 boards I think two weeks ago against Maccabi Tel Aviv. That is like the equivalent of scoring 35 in college on a good night.
