Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, UNC, and Arizona were in play for all of these foreign pros Wade is signing.
Other than that, you're right. No one else wanted these dudes.

Slow down LSUAlum2001....I'm not sure "Stacked" is the word for this rosters. There are 2 players with average double digit scoring. 3 if you include Nunez at 9.8.
Will we be better? Definitely.
I think the strategy is to win now and get the attention of other portal player for next season. He is pushing the envelope of the NCAA and this will either force them to set boundaries on the pro-league guys coming into college with some eligibility left.

These guys have never played together...it'll be awhile before they can even communicate. We will will 15-18 games at most.

Come on junior...u know better than that. Those schools would never touch 23-25 year olds

If all of them come over the ones just committed now, they have a huge fish left they are actively trying to agree with under the table before the draft and maybe one other EURO that is probably more like a Madar left, but even with these 6-7 foreigners and the “normal” 3-4 transfer portal guys. Will put up a ban bet right now LSU gets over 20 wins year one with that collection of talent. Looking at these players raw numbers from the Euroleague is pointless, it’s not apples to apples. Most if not all are in their first actual year playing up in the Euroleague for their big clubs. Getting 8ppg in the Euroleague at 19-24 years old, I would say is more impressive than getting a guy scoring 20ppg coming from a low major D-1 school in the transfer portal. I posted it on the RB, what Niang for instance did in a couple of his most recent games against Partizan and Maccabi where he actually got some burn, is crazy to think about. He is right now going into Belgrade or Tel Aviv in just another pro game over there and in his first year, with all that he and the other have to go through and actually is producing. To think he won’t b be able to “communicate” when they go into Bud Walton, Rupp, or Thompson-Boling is crazy. Their current situations are 2-3X more challenging. Its basketball at the end of the day, they are actual professionals right now and for some have been for 5+ years. I do not care who South Carolina or Vanderbilt or anyone else in college basketball has that’s either a second year college guy or a transfer from some directional school that plays minutes and think these pros are not going to just lace them up and treat them like children on both ends of the floor.

That's the nature of college basketball today. The starting 5 of this year's National Champion (Michigan) had never played together either before this season. For 4 of the 5 it was their first season at Michigan. It seemed to turn out well.

I really hope this board isn't representative of how ignorant people of Louisiana are. The foreign players signed or linked to LSU ALL speak and understand English. That's not uncommon for guys who play at the international level.

Given how easily your first two statements were debunked I'm not quite sure how strong your prediction may be.

2026 Michigan starting 5 prior to this season
Lendeborg - 18/11 rpg
Johnson - 7/7 rpg
Mara - 6/4 rpg
Burnett - 9/4 rpg
Cadeau - 9/6 apg
That group, along with others who did not average double digit scoring the year before, went 37-3
I'm NOT predicting LSU will go 37-3, or anything close to that. But to base an opinion on the strength of team based SOLELY on ppg number can be flawed

Wade has talked about how foreign pro leagues always have revamped rosters and how these guys are very used to playing with completely new teammates every year. It's the model across the ocean.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, or are just stupid. It's pretty well known Pope flew over to shoot his shot with Diang, and Kansas tried to get Santo eligible last year. The other schools have also been mentioned with the players we signed.
