JD was garbage in half the games last year. I see no improvement.

Holy shite if he isn’t ready now, he’ll never be ready. I think he’s ready and has earned some playing time. However, I do not believe that Daniels has necessarily done enough to be benched. He certainly isn’t the biggest issue for this team.

I like how you use this to give your statement a modicum of credibility. Alabama had Bryce Young, a true Heisman winner playing QB last year and we finished ahead of them in the West. It's a bit disingenuous to use the "Heisman candidate" argument to validate your cause.

You're obviously drinking the same Kool aid that made the team think Sunday's game would be easy.

Daniels has lead LSU to 4 blowouts in 15 games. He is not consistent enough no matter what the stat line says.

If they want to get anything out of this season, they have to play both quarterbacks. Otherwise, I do not see anything better than 8-4.

Simple for me—Nuss can stretch the opposing defense & make them defend the entire field.

With all due respect to JD, the FSU D did not believe they could get beat deep & they were right.

Maybe it’s because JD looked like pure shite after being coached up as the 1 all offseason.

We tried and tried this last year and kept learning why JD was the starter. It will never end.

What’s your take on a pressure situation in face of a proven quick release?

Seriously

Depends on if he sees the wide open receivers and makes them pay for it when they blitz.

Nuss was here before him. Why does it “have” to be his (JD’s year)…..Saban put in Tua when it was supposed to be Hurts’ year….make the change…..

I swear to god….you guys would rather lose with JD then win with Nuss……

Why so much hate for Nuss? Is it because he is white?

You can’t bench JD

I see the logic here. But yes you can.

I’m not here to throw dirt on anybody’s name or performance. With that said, JD is very limited as a passer. That is no secret. And because of his limitations, LSU’s offense will be both limited and predictable.

And with a QB on the sidelines that does not have those same limitations, the team as a whole is going to have lows where they are frustrated with the situation in general. It will bring moral down on the team and because of this it will look like LSU is much much worse than they actually are. (See second half of Sunday night’s game.)

We need some leaders to step up in the locker room and explain that at LSU football is not to be played conditionally. Regardless of the situation or the players on the field vs players on the sidelines, you go out there and you give MAX EFFORT and you play FOR YOUR BROTHER!

If the team can do that as a whole and if some leaders develop to enforce these “rules”, then LSU will win some tight games. But if they don’t, they will lose several games they should win.
