If you’re Brian Kelly and have a Heisman candidate with proven track record of success (remember last year?) and you bench him for a guy who may or may not be ready, and you lose another two games, then what?

You can’t bench JD, sorry guys. It’s his year and his mistakes weren’t why we lost

I like Nuss but the Nuss fanatics on here are stupid.

ETA: I’d like to see him get some reps but I’m certainly not gonna act an arse about it and shite on JD and/or CBK over it, some even shitting on the team overall and reveling in the loss.

Get the Heisman crap out of your head!!!! He is nowhere near being a Heisman winner. Also, why are you so hung up on a Heisman winner. The only recent winner worth a damn was Burrow and it isn't even close.

Not seeing the field and not having confidence to make the longer throws is going to hurt us all year. Everyone was pretty much in agreement that we needed to see big time improvements passing and we haven’t. It’s only 1 game but we haven’t seen anything really. Don’t give me “he threw for 300+ yds” bullshite either

Lmfao at “heisman candidate”

Just completely waste a year with JD if you want but he’s not winning you anything special

Media also said LSU was the 5th best team in the nation in the pre season, things change from week to week in cfb.

What qualifies as a proven track record? He laid an egg in 4 games last year. If that’s good enough for you, then by all means, be a JD fan boy. He was average in the other games. Florida was his best game.

JD is no damn heisman candidate! Nuss opens up the passing game which opens up the entire field and in turns opens up the running game. I could care less if my QB rushed for 110 yards. Would prefer if my RBs would rush for 150 yards.

Yeah, JD was a Heisman candidate until he played in week 1, and he has commercials on X. You can’t bench him. He drinks powerade and gave Beats to the O-Line

HELLO LES MILES!

SPURRIER AND SABAN LAUGH AT YOU CLOWNS!

JD cannot read a D or throw downfield or throw a guy open and holds ball too long

and it kills our run game.

you think he never needs to see the bench? not rotate? you think nuss cannot throw downfield?

look who had the most sacks per attempts. NUss or JD5?

JD will not sniff a Heisman much less win one. 54% completion percentage won't get it done.

I'm not sold on Nuss, but I'm 100% sold on NOT JD.

If you leave JD out there, you'll lose 2 more games as well.
JD is not a good QB.

Are you new to Fandom. The second team QB is always the best player on the team.
Except last season. It was Howard, third team, who was the best. Until he Portaled to Ole Miss. Then he was Garbage.

It will play out by the end of the season.

Have you seen him play? Do yourself a favor, go watch Shedeur Sanders play QB then go watch JD5. Tell me if you see a difference there.

I like Daniels, but in this offense, Nuss seems to be a better fit for what we are trying to do. Blame it on Daniels for not improving, blame it on Denbrock for not adjusting the offense to his style, but its just not a consistent enough unit to be elite. And with this defense we need an elite offense to be competitive against top teams.

That said, Daniels is not even on the radar as to why we shite the bed against FSU.

Nuss needs to start the next 5 games so tRant will fall in love with JD.
