I for one would. I was a student from 2002-2007 and the 2003 run is still a highlight in my life. I also remember going to the 2004 spring graduation where W Bush gave the commencement. Saban walked in 5 minutes into the speech and got a several minute standing ovation. Bush had to stop his speech and he said something to the nature if, 'I wish I had his approval rating.'

Saban made us relevant. I think it is warranted.

No, unless we’re giving one to the other 2 coaches that won Nattys.
And considering what he did after he left LSU, I’d say getting inducted into the Louisiana sports HOF is enough.

Yeah no....he probably could care less about his time at lsu. BAMA is where his heart is at. That’s like keeping a picture of your ex after she marries a billionaire

Saban didn’t make LSU relevant. LSU made Saban relevant.

Burrow statue should be next. Jayden needs a plaque or building named after him.

Hell, no.

Alabama fans would laugh at us.

Saban wouldn't even show up to unveil his statue. The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches tried to honor him and induct him, and he kept putting them off. So they gave up.

I am grateful for what he did at LSU. But otherwise, he represents 16 mostly frustrating seasons for us. We don't need any bronze reminders of that.
