Second from the top, stormtrooper white with yellow gold is my favorite alternate. I would love those to become an annual thing against a certain opponent.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. I'm not a fan of the slimmer numbers. Also the shoulder strikers are different but I think they look fine. But I agree with you. I enjoy the 2012 jerseys much more.

That traditional purple jersey with the white pants and helmets is AWESOME! The Tigers should wear that for one home conference game each year, maybe a lesser opponent like Missouri or Kentucky.

Purple pants are a no go, if only for the bad mojo around their one prior appearance in the mid-90s.

Go back to the purple jersey's for most home games.
Maybe use old gold instead of the "current" gold for one game
Maybe against Ole Miss this year they could stick the numbers on the helmets instead of the current logo
At the end of the day though, LSU's uniforms are great and no tweaks are necessary.

I was at every game in the 90s and don't remember the baseball/softball/basketball gold being used in football one time. It was always some super light gold and the numbers didn't have the purple trim. There was a LOT of partying for me prior to game time though. Perhaps I'm remembering wrong.

The changes were made because LSU went to a different jersey style.
The current cut is the Nike Victory Formation.
Most bigger schools have gone to the mach speed.

Our uni's are badass, pro combat included
