I would. I'd definitely keep him. I could go a year or two I it meant we'd keep what could be our best basketball coach ever.
definitely, hell we had an exciting team last year even though we didn’t make the post season but I know we are about to go back to having an Trent Johnson/ Johnny Jones type of coach... boring as frick

I mean considering the two hires we had prior to him, we were basically on a self imposed post season ban for the majority of that time

ETA: ... And we had a tuba player playing at one point in time. If that's not like a scholarship reduction then I don't know what is.

Absolutely; but unless Alleva's gone, he won't stay anyway.

2) Is there a reason we went from last in the SEC to the NIT to the Sweet 16 besides just good coaching?

Yeah, the infusion of 5 new players and a transfer C who was eligible this season. Top 8 on this roster give us a strong chance against any team remaining in this tourney, regardless of the HC. The resilient, talented players deserve a lot of credit for where this team finds itself.

LSU needs Will Wade. Will Wade does not need LSU.

I cannot state this enough. Wade is a great coach and his players love him. I don’t think there will be any NCAA sanctions. If we lose him, it’ll be bad. He’ll be successful wherever he goes. If he was to end up at A&M or Bama, I’d be sick

Yes, I would keep him. For the long term stability of the program and to keep a good coach home at LSU.

Did he build a team or buy a team is the question now and why we are even having this discussion.

Just goes to show you college coaching now is more about how to assemble a team with great players than on the field or court coaching.

Years ago UCLA had a record that may never be matched under Wooden and pretty much proven they showered the players with a lavish lifestyle.

Makes one wonder what is going on in college sports and how to compete.

No. It's not the institution's fault that CWW was caught up in an FBI sting. Integrity is important.

He "cheated" and we kept him= frick you,
You have zero power you pussified nazi wanna-bes.

These boys deserve a huge slice of that pie, keep em more than 1-2 years, earn hhardware, etc.

Win win win win errywhere.

You obviously havent been watching AT ALL this season. This team looked nothing like it does now to start the season. Wonder why? Oh yeah, coaching.
