look what happened to ULL back in '83 they never recovered from that, I think Wade should go if that means that we keep everything else from record to players.

If the NCAA penalizes LSU, it'll be with or without Wade. Firing Wade would not lessen the blow.

Definitely keep him. Short term losss. Long term gain.

You do have to lock him in where he can’t leave. So Contract would be very important

They were given the death penalty. The NCAA will almost certainly NEVER give a major conference program the death penalty. If you want a somewhat more comparable example I'd use the PSU football program who after receiving their punishment maintained a good coaching staff and has remained competitive.

I'd keep Wade unless doing so threatened LSU football. That means you fire Wade if the NCAA's investigation uncovers cheating by Wade or at his behest. You can't jeopardize your cash cow by giving the NCAA the middle finger in the face of that.

Makes one wonder what is going on in college sports and how to compete.

Only for the ones with their heads in the sand.

It’s a billion dollar industry and the labor is unpaid. You think there’s any way in hell that a black market doesn’t exist?

The problem is title 9.

No way that happens, if we get anytime of postseason ban, Wade will be fired.

Remember all those years in the last 10 we didn't make the tournament? We had a self imposed ban for the last 2 head coaches.
