Nah my expectations have firmly been stated & if you participate in basketball discussions, you know what they are.

I won’t hammer the roster construction, because with Adam Miller, this is Wade’s best roster to date.

I think it’s the other people that think this is a 4-5 loss SEC team are the ones you will have to worry about losing their shite

Tennessee hasn’t beaten us in 3 years so those 2 should be wins. Arkansas should be a W, ATM should be a W and there’s no reason not to split with Kentucky, Auburn, Bama and Florida. I’m throwing Florida in there as an unknown because White has given Wade problems every year. That’s 6-2 anything less than that is a letdown.

as long as we go 4-4 or better, we will be in good shape.

4-3 would be a decent start considering the slate. 4 away, 3 home games all against likely tournament teams....then Texas A&M at home is a team we need to beat Game 8 to get to 5-3.

Georgia Tech was supposed to be the decent ACC team we played this year, not Wake.
Wake looks like the tourney team, not GA Tech.

and i'm someone who repeatedly brought up how they have finished at the bottom of the ACC 4 years in a row and to not expect them to be any good.

Neither Wake or Ga Tech are tournament teams. Wakes schedule is pathetically bad

Wake's schedule isnt good, but outside of losing to us they've beaten Northwestern and (@)Virginia Tech which are both good wins without losing any other game.

Their NET is Top 35 which would suggest tournament level team right now.

Liberty, Belmont, Ohio, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, and Louisiana Tech would all match up with Texas A&M. Texas A&M might beat some of them but they'd also lose to a few of those teams. They definitely aren't better than every team LSU has faced so far.

The ACC doesn’t look very good this season. Wake can hang with plenty of ACC teams. They already have 11 wins and a NET of 35.

NET is meaningless right now, especially when you have a great record against poor competition.

LSU made their guards look like NAIA players, they are going to have a rough time in the ACC. They might not have a great conference but there are very few bad teams.

No, we are capable of winning them all. 5-3 doesn't cut it.

There are currently 2 teams on LSU’s schedule with better NET than A&M. One is Wake who isn’t a tourney team, the other is Belmont who only gets in if they win the conference. Dunno. Yay, I guess ?

5 of the first 8 would certainly give us at least a few quality wins against likely tourney teams. I’d be more than happy with 5-3.
