Saban will wait until the last regular season and then fly off in the night and leave for the NFL again to coach the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones will spare no expense!

That would be too funny!

West Virginia people are convinced he would go "home" to them. I highly doubt that.

I just posted on another thread pretty much the same thing that anyone who doesn't want him back would be lying to themselves...

Then why don't all of you claiming this go cheer for Bama and post on their boards? I swear no one else will care. Maybe their school will meet yalls standards!

Is Saban a great coach....yes. Would we like to have him still....yes in a heartbeat. Is he better than what we have now....yes. Do his teams play with passion (more passion and tougher than LSU)....yes.

That being said you take the good with the bad. Nick Saban only cares about Nick Saban. He has essentially taken over the Univ of Alabama and now runs it completely because the Bammers sold their soul to the devil to get him because at the time they had no other options after firing Shula. Tell me why there is no buyout clause in his contract at Alabama?? How does that benefit the Univ of Alabama?? He could walk at anytime and Bama would get no compensation for him. That alone says enough about this lil a-hole.

The other thing is that he loses games that you dont see coming as losses....not big games but games that you feel there is no possibility you could lose (evidence: Utah in 08, La Monroe 07 and Florida 03, UAB in 2000) He at least 1 game he should win every year. Which games is that for Bama this year (TN, SC or Auburn). Les Miles has not done that yet...we shall see. So you take the good with the bad I guess.

Honestly I think I get more enjoyment out of hating him. I liked him when he was here. I don't think he was that great of a game time coach. He was however the best I have ever seen at player development, which makes up for it. It was nice to see marked improvement from a majority of returning players. But the mental image of popping out his eyeballs and skull fricking him has become to enjoyable to give up. You guys have a great coach and a fine program, enjoy it.

Perriloux had a good outing this past weekend and seems to have straightened out his life, but I'm satisfied with Jordon Jefferson. I think he is starting to come around and showed glimses of what he is capable of this past weekend.

Have not heard any Saban to NFL rumors this year, so now is as good of time as any to start them.

I agree. I think we look just like the LSU team that kicked our arse in 2006 during his first year at BAMA. His defense is sick.

No, Perrilloux and Joe Dean both wore out their welcomes in Baton Rouge.

I actually thought this was gonna be about Perilloux, and the answer woulda been no.

Saban? frick yes. Not that I dislike Miles, but I think the team is just underperforming, and has been for a while now.

Honestly, no. The reason is he was right for our program at the time. I wish he would have stayed, but I don't think him coming back would be a good fit for this program. Who's to say that he'd be as successful the second time around anyway?

Of course. But to be honest this team is playing so bad that I'd be interested in a lot of other coaches right now.

I'd like Brian Kelly.

I just want a smart coach again.

Yes...the Saban you have seems to let his OC run the show. The Saban we had controlled the reins. This is a much improved Saban over who we had.

You'll not be singing this tune when BAMA is the one competing for championships while LSU is playing second fiddle as long as Les is here.
