A night game in TS in late December? Could be cold or wet or likely both. I guess it would be better than a game in late December in Utah or Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Penn State white outs seen like the most intimidating environment. Oregon is right there also.

As of now the low for December 21st is Columbus, Ohio is 24 degrees. I would not want to play against Ohio State in sub 32 degree weather...

You act like they're used to playing that late into the yr up there. The latest the play is the end of Nov. You're talking about another 3 weeks later. If I had to bed, they're not used to playing in those Temps either. NFL teams, yes, college teams, no.

I’m imagining a home playoff game vs an SEC team like Tennessee. Holy smokes

The UGA game in 2003

That was my first thought but I wasn't there, so I don't know first hand, but It kinda proves my point. You had to go back 21 years.

I think the top 3 HFA for the playoffs would be

LSU, Ohio State, and Penn State

A 3pm game would be perfect in December. A little sun and warmth to start and finish with a rowdy nighttime crowd. Won’t even notice the cold rolling in.

2003 GA I believe was a 2:30 kickoff and that was the very first game that I was in awe of. I was like HolyShit this is crazy AF and I love it. My first game was at the dome when we played Kurt Kitna and Illinois. Not sure what the date was. But from that moment on I was hooked going to games. Before that it was all TV. Nothing like Tiger Stadium at night.
I was around 30 yrs old for the 2003 season and my buddy catered for TAFF and most of his workers were lsu students. So I would grab there tickets for $20 and upgrade them. Went to every home game in the student section with a buddy.
frick shirts that say I survived Mardi 2003! I survived the student section in Death Valley in 2003! Best of times

The low in Ann Arbor last year on the day of the Ohio State/Michigan game (November 25th) was 14 degrees.

I agree with this. I suspect you’d get a decent number of students to either come back onto campus for that game. Could sell remaining student tickets to the public. I think it would be the best environment especially if it was around 60-75 degrees. Tailgating would include gumbo. Yes please.

That wouldn't make an ounce of difference. If LSU is playing a playoff game in that stadium it will be absolutely jam packed, and absolute hell on whoever we play. It will be the hottest ticket in LSU football history.

Tbh good. They don’t have enough seats for all the students at the school. So this just means the student section will be full of all the local/Louisiana students or the diehards who aren’t from here.

I’m curious if the stadium would actually be sold out in actuality. A lot of people plan way in advance for these games. I know bowl games are harder because of the distance, but having a game on short notice, I am curious if it’s a full crowd.
