Fresno State 2006 was pretty rough. The concourses were flooded pretty bad.
it was like a tropical storm tailgating, but once we stepped foot in the stadium, not a drop

When we played Tulane in the mid 1990's the weather was terrible. Severe thunderstorms and the game kept going. They would of stop the game today because of lighting.

I remember at that Miami game watching rain swirling around in huge circles above the field. I’ve never seen anything like it.
crazy enough i have. believe it or not, the tenn game this year reminded me very much of the 88 miami game. except it was quite chilly in knoxville, especially afterward. it didn't rain for as long as the miami game but it was concerning how the wind blowing. tornadic looking

this is the coldest i can ever remember being in tiger stadium. the only game i have ever left to thaw out and then go back in. even colder than shaun Alexander's party. as a matter of fact, i don't think i can recall ever being colder at a game anywhere.

1988 Miami game. Deluge so hard in the first half you literally couldn't see the field.

My grandmother, 82 at the time, sat through the whole thing with her purse cradled in her lap.

When it was about to start pouring, we asked her if she wanted to go underneath out of the weather. She said no that she was okay. She was one mentally tough lady and she loved her Tigers.

When the rain stopped, she lifted up her purse, which was the kind that fully latched closed. I vividly remember her tilting the purse to one side and about a cup of water pouring out of the bottom corner like a faucet.

LSU vs University of Miami. 1988. Steve Walsh was their QB. Rained so hard, it was hard to see the field. Got our arse handed to us. The start of the end of the Archer era.

Sorry. Did not read all the other posts. The answer is The U in 1988. It just flat rained.

Auburn game a few years ago. It was a sloppy mess and it rained for the first time I’ve ever been to Death Valley on a Saturday night. Got soaked

Also the Appalachian State game a long Time ago was miserable all day.

03 ULM was the worst rain storm I sat through. Most people left, but it was hot and miserable.

Miss State I’m I believe 05 was bad. Downpour followed by sun made it miserable. Most people left the stadium in the 3rd...and that was before that became the norm.

‘04 Oregon St. wasn’t bad, it was just hot and very very humid. I don’t think it even rained once they actually started the game.

I think it was the first home game against a nobody in 2004. Game was delayed for an hr or so and our tents were scattered across the field which is now the girls softball field.

You may be thinking of the first game vs UL-Monroe in 2003. About a 30 minute rain delay w/ lots of lighting. A deluge but once the game started it soon turned into a rout.

I seem to recal a game in 2001 that was pretty cold also. Hot chocolate was cold before it was dispensed.
