The team has looked lethargic lately. Very lack luster first half

They kind of looked like this towards the end of non-conf play last year too. They’re probably ready to be play some better competition.

I’m sure this is a great crowd for Coppin State WBB. They probably normally play in front of 50 people.
Im at the game and was here at 5:30 for a 6 pm start. Waited in a line around the block and finally got into the area a at halftime.

If this team continues to languish in lethargy it will not repeat.

That's why there were so many empty seats before halftime. Looks more full now.

They had four metal detectors set up and one entrance. There was still a line 100 yds long when I got in. It’s nuts.

Just checked out the box score. The last few games without HVL have been good for Poa, it seems. She’s never going to be your go to scorer. Tonight she has 5 pts on 2-2 shooting. But more importantly she has 8 assists, 1 steal, and no turnovers. I’ll take that from her any night.

Mulkey needs to schedule some better pre-conference games. These are pretty bad.
Blowouts aren't fun no matter which side you're on.

Another one of our sage fans. Poa had 8 assists and NO turnovers.

This is how Kim Mulkey schedules. We will have 2-3 legit OOC games and the rest will be weak or a tournament. She will not play a schedule full of challenges in non-conference lie some teams (SCarolina) do.

Great stats and if Poa playedl longer she would have doubled with assists with no to’s.

So we get 3 competitive teams and 12 that aren't. Why don't we schedule a big ten team? Baylor and Louisville would seem to have been perfect games to get the fans interested because of the relationships. Hey, not saying that the men's team doesn't do the exact same thing but the reason they do it is because they are no good and have to have some games they can win.

I hate to break it to you but this is how Mulkey has always scheduled going back to Baylor, its not going to change while she coaches the last 8-10 years left of her career.

Honestly its maybe the only possible drawback/negative, outside of that she will keep LSU in the top 10 contending for championships every year. LSU is #3 in the country in attendance despite the OOC which is impressive and the fans really don't truly start pouring in until January like they have her first couple years.

Only one more 'cupcake' then the real season begins in a couple weeks with SEC play.
