Pretty cool how we were able to schedule a homecoming for Angel. Imagine if 2019 we had a cupcake game at Ohio, where Joe had probably watched 50+ games. At least we got the NOLA boys a homecoming to cap that year off.

Full write up for those interested:

My body is ready for half of Brusly to chime in with disparaging remarks about Angel Reese

It is pretty common (or at least used to be) for power conf. teams to schedule road games in the hometowns of senior out-of-state players. I guess that tradition has kind of gone by the wayside with higher demand for neutral site games.

CKM said we are playing Grambling in Bossier City next season. She said she tried to get Tech to play there but they wouldn't. Mikaylah Williams is from Bossier City.

It’s historic because it’s a champ visiting an HBCU.

Dean Smith was doing this back in the 70s. He may have been the originator of the idea.

How in the fu*ck is this an historic trip? We’re going to a shithole city to play a shitty team. You’re an idiot jackareaux.

Easy, sally. It is to those involved. And they are the ones that count.

That is what Kim said, we scheduled a game next year in Bossier City, Mikaylah's home town, and she's not a senior. We tried to get La Tech to play us there but they refused. That was a mistake by LA Tech, it would have been big news, big draw, emotional storyline, big money for northwest Louisiana. That's what Kim wanted to do while at LSU, to help all of Louisiana. Maybe we will schedule a game with DePaul next year in Aneesah's home town Chicago. Kim doesn't care about Angel or any of her players right?

Angel about to teach Coach Mulkey how to do the Baltimore strut while eating some pit beef and a lake trout sandwich.

Don’t see DePaul cooperating in a Morrow homecoming game. Would have to be another school there.

I’m not sure Kim’s into that kind of party.

An overflow crowd is expected, in a gym that holds 4,000. Tickets are being scalped at $300.Standing room only crowds will include "numerous tv crews & national press under & around both baskets". Great PR for CKM & her team.
