The real question is how many times was each quarterback sacked or were they too concerned about their completion percentage to throw the ball away?

Scoring defense was #1. Oklahoma was #1 total defense. Don’t you remember Bob Stoops’ response to the halftime on-field interview question about LSU’s “#1 defense”?

What’s funny is JRuss had a better record than Flynn their last seasons.

JRuss- 11-2
Flynn - 10-2

i remember stoops bitching. i remember we were number 1 at one of those two stats pre natty. i remember after tho.

these stats were after the natty it appears

LINK

this says we were #1 in total yards

LINK

i need to see the stats again pre natty for scoring D and total D let me see if i can find them.

ok found it. yes, OU was #1 in total D pre natty. we were #1 scoring D.we jumped them after the natty and finished #1 in both categories at the end

pre natty

Totally agree with you on this. Have my doubts of being a championship contender next year because there will be at least 5 new starters on defense. The defense and offense needs to be way better than this year.

Which other game besides the SEC Championship didn’t Flynn play? I forget.

I think D is Jamarcus. Flynn is A and the winner.

Prior to Burrow in 2019, LSU only had 3 QBs pass for over 3000 yards in a single season, Rohan in 2001, Jamarcus in 2006 and Mettenberger in 2013.

LSU was 12-2 in Flynn's year?

People do this like no one will remember how many TDS and yards Flynn, Daniels, Mett and Mauck threw

How many LSU QBs have thrown 20+ TDs or ran for 11?

The one thing that sticks out to me is the defensive rating in 2013 (Group C). Without looking it up, there is no way in hell you could've convinced me that was the 21st ranked defense in the country. They got absolutely worked at UGA and with the exception of the Florida game, looked extremely soft thru the middle of the season.

For the first time in forever, the offense actually carried the team in a big way that year.

I don't think you've ever said anything that didn't make me irrationally angry. I wished you'd sprain your limp wrist preventing you from spouting the dumb shite you continually vomit all over these naords.

All of the JD5 IW's (Idolizing Worshippers) are hoping that Kelly, Sloan and Denbrock can perform miracles in the Spring and teach him how to do this, then hope the "Miracles" hold and are still there in the Fall.

I’ll go on record and say if JD starts the entire season LSU will have at least 4 losses next year. They also won’t win the west cause I doubt it will be as soft as it is this year.
