Vegas

I hope they're wrong. I love when they're wrong. I actually think they're wrong. We are so streaky...if we just keep loose and swing the bats, I think we can win. More importantly, Lange has to get over his first inning frick ups. If he makes it through the first two untouched, we will win. If he shits the bed in those innings, we lose. Wish I could be there.

I like our chances. We have Lange on the bump who is going to pitch a hell of a game with the pressure on the line, and knowing it will probably be his last time to take the hill for the Tigers. The kid has had some shaky appearances, but he's also been clutch when the pressure is on, with batters going something like 0-17 against him with the bases juiced. LSU wins today.

I think Lange dominates today after a shaky 1st and we find a way tomorrow.

I'd say that if we win TOMORROW, we win it all. That's where the biggest challenge lies.

If you've watched any LSU baseball games at all, and still believe this...

...then you are very wrong and hopeless

Lange is one of the best competitors we've had in a long time.

45% Today

15% Tomorrow

They just have better pitching than LSU. They had better pitching before Walker injury and have even more now.

Lange on the hill, against this team and opposing pitcher, right about 50%, perhaps a bit less.

30-40% only because Lange will be on the bump. If they are able to win, tomorrow will be in the 5-15% range.

Somewhere between 35-45%. This is a better team than us, regardless who is pitching. No shame in that.

"I would agree. I think it's slightly over 50%. Saturday on the other hand.......we are going to need some magic.Totally agree"

Without Walker, it's going to be extremely hard.

It's Saturdays game that I would be more worried about.

I beg to differ.

If we win today, the pressure is all on them tomorrow. They haven't been in that situation this year.

Tossup today.

If Lange is on his A game, I think we hold them down.

If we break through with the bats early I think we win a game similar to the 2nd Florida State game.
If the game is tight late and Lange is dealing, I think we break through in the later innings, similar to the 1st Miss State game of the Super Regional.

If Lange is wild early, I think we lose.

If OSU scores in first three innings, then 0% chance of victory

If Lange holds them without a run in the first three innings, put LSU chances at 75%

It will be tough to get a win today, a win tom would be an incredible feat. Oregon State is good and I know they aren't letting that last win get in their heads

BASE hits and minimize (3 or less) walks - 70%
Pop ups, dribblers, and more than 4 walks - 20%

Prediction: 2 Tiger homers today - hope we have some base runners on. Lange deals through 7 with 9 K's

Tigers win 6-4

Spot on.

Today I think is about 40 percent.

Tomorrow depends on what happens today. If we win but have to use up a bunch of arms from the pen, then I think we literally have almost no shot.

If Lange can go 8 or complete game, then I think we have a real strong shot at two in a row.

Lange has to be sharp from the start. Hopefully, we get a different ump than the one with the narrow strike zone Lange had the other day.

If he isn't getting the call for his curve at the low end of the strike zone, then it's gonna be a short outing for him I believe.
