Move the field closer to the stands. The new Box gave away our best home field advantage. The crowd was basically on top of you. Opposing pitchers would shite themselves in our old park back in the day. We were good for at least one pitcher meltdown every regional. Remember back to back to back on that poor basturd from Irvine? Those 4 seed pitchers who couldn’t keep it in the same zipcode as the strike zone? That’s the problem with the new Box. It lost its, “oh shite these people are crazy,” vibes.

The new Box has its faults...but an led light show isn't one of them. So atleast we have that going for us.

All of this. Renovation on the 1st base and 3rd baselines. Move the bullpens and put seats closer to the field. Build enclosed bullpens by the foul poles or in left & right center if you have to. Sticking with an “LSU” theme, maybe build replica indian mounds beyond the outfield walls to act as berms. I’m just throwing out ideas. Unfortunately the ads are going to stay, but get rid of the ads directly behind home plate, such an eyesore. Build a real damn structure for the intimidator. Having it on a Lamar billboard makes it look like we’re playing next to a freeway.

We need to do something, the box is stale compared to other SEC baseball facilities.
-I agree with removing the bleachers and adding a concrete concourse that runs the entire outfield.
-The batters eye is atrocious, we can put something more aesthetically appealing.
-If we have to keep the advertisements at least make them all white and uniform. I think we should minimize the amount and charge more per space, keeping the overall cost the same.
-I wouldn't mind having a BYOB berm area that has BBQ pits for students.

The major issue with the box is something you can’t fix now. The original design to try and just modernize the old box was the issue. Should have built a completely new stadium design from scratch.

The most "high schoolish" thing in the ballpark is the bullpens. Having them on the track like they are screams high school to me. If they were going to do anything, I would vote for actual bullpens.

Yeah, this definitely needs to be done...chairbacks all the way around, save 1 or 2 spots in the outfield where you do something unique
