We could fill a balloon with current Box aura and take it somewhere in the basin and get rid of it?

Part of that is the park itself but its also due to the nazi rule marshals that litter the park now. Luckily the ones where I sit are awesome, but you better forget about leaving an ice chest next to the gate these days. The fans were rabid at the old box, souped up on mid inning budweisers and flasks of whiskey

They need a berm like they said they’d have. They need better food. But LSU won’t make improvements the fans want. They’ll add a new layer of suites first to take in cash to pay off the lawsuit funds.

And they’ll start construction during baseball season because it’ll never be ready on time.

I may be in the minority but I don’t get the appeal of a berm. Oh yay I get to pay money to sit on a hill but hey I can bring my own beer. I don’t mind sitting in stands and paying for beer at the concessions I just want them to not be terrible bleachers.

I think "berm" may just be the blanket term used but what I think most here are referring to when they say that, is an area like State has in the outfield where they can cook and essentially have a tailgate in the stadium.

At least thats what I think of and Id be ALL for that!

The actual box suites look like cardboyboxes that are hanging up there. Would be nice to give those a better look and extend them.

Orrrr and here is a crazy thought. You go to a baseball game and you watch the freaking baseball game.

Look, I'm with you from that perspective. When I bring my 7 year old, he watches in his seat. He's not there for those playgrounds. But that's not reality. We don't "need" chairbacks but they're a comfort that's expected. We need to go beyond expectations and get people wanting to be there rather than sitting in AC in their homes. That means extras that don't seem necessary to many but get the seats full.

I remember getting my kids out of school early and sness as king them in with the Mrs. to watch LSU comeback to beat S Al at the old Box and advance in the playoffs.
We sat by the visitor’s pen, on metal bleachers and there was no shade. We were packed in like sardines.

I couldn’t tell you if the hit figs were fresh, the batter’s eye was fresh, and we didn’t need chairbacks of cup holders. The Box was the place to be.

Now don’t get me wrong. We should always look to improve things. It’s a mistake not to, but winning cures a lot of things.

Right, because its impossible to cook, be with friends, and watch a baseball game at the same time.

You ever get up from your seats to go get something to eat/ drink during the game? HOW frickING DARE YOU

Where do people like you come from ? Take note of the economy before you start thinking about spending multimillion dollars of somebody else’s money.

By the way, all those changes you want to make? You know how they get funded? Guess...
How to all the other SEC schools that have nicer parks than us manage to do it without the buttfricking ugly ads?

Our fanbase constantly makes excuses
