It’s just a tv show.

You can't press if you can't make shots

Decent recruiter, mediocre gameday coach.
Good enough to routinely be an 11-6 seed in the tournament with outliers of getting a higher seed possible.
Many will think that's shitting on him, but it's a fair assessment I think.

Exactly. Any time Wade was able to set the defense off a made basket down the stretch, he had Kentucky confused by mixing up the defense. Can't do that when you consistently go on scoring droughts.

Right on cue from you POS

It’s hard to really get a good picture of him at this point. Great turnaround, suspended for 1st tournament, next one cancelled, last year round of 32, this year seems like a 8-9 seed. Fair assessment with seeding consistency.

Hes just bad. Look at the difference between teams when adjustments made at half.
Wade is lost and has no answers to changes in game.

I agree the players lack in knowledge of some things but there’s nothing complex to that offense.
Posted on 2/23/22 at 10:59 pm to des4271
It’s too complex for them, I didn’t say it was too complex for you.

lol keep telling yourself that reject shows how much you really do not know.
Posted on 2/24/22 at 2:57 pm to the LSUSaint
so big mouth since you have coached in the SEC and know it all what should Wade do? Give specifics I mean you are the know it all.
Posted on 2/24/22 at 2:57 pm to Madking
2+2 is too complex for these idiots.

Had the Dawkins tape never happened, the program is in a different place today.
All things considered, he is likely to get LSU in its 4th tournament (yes counting 2020) in a row. LSU has not had this kind of consistent success since Dale in the late 80’s - early 90’s. Am I satisfied with just making the tournament, no. Do I think Wade at 39 years old is capable of getting this program to a consistent second weekend / final four contender, yes.
Go look at Jay Wright a Nova. Took him 4 years to make the tournament, 4 years to make the sweet 16 and 8 years to make the final four. Don’t think WW is that far off from this trajectory. He was 39 when he got the Nova job.
ETA. If you want to see what a good recruiter, but bad coach looks like, go to Memphis. Consistent top 5 classes and can’t make the tournament.
ETA 2: Tony Bennett is another good example of building to long term success. Took him 3 years to make the tournament, 5 years to make the Sweet 16, and 6 years to make back-to-back tournaments. He was about 39-40 when hired at UVA.

Yep but lsu is not a basketball school atleast lau has a mediocre record in basketball. So what are you crying about? Lsu doesn't upgrade its facilities for basketball or anything needed for basketball to better enhance a players skills on the basketball court. I mean what did you expect ? Did you expect lsu to go undefeated in sec play? Or did ya expect lsu to make adjustments when Kentucky is without 2 of their best players? Look lsu is not built for that bullony, I'm ok with lsu being mediocre in basketball. That's just the way it is, Wade is probably an excellent coach if he had better tools to teach his players when every other school is much further ahead than LSU to help those basketball athletes utilize their skills.

LSU has been outplayed in the second half for several games in a row. Either they don't give a shot, or adjustments are being made by opposing team's coach and Wade can't counter.

Exactly we are not as good as people think we are.We started hot but then teams started having equal talent and we are middle of the road in the SEC we shoot 11th best free throw percentage in conference so any close games we lose you can see how that comes into effect. If we had a dominant big man it prolly be a different story but we are over matched at the 4 an 5 a lot of times and really nothing you can do but recruit better players.I think this team is middle of the pack talent wise.I’m sure others think we are final four caliber, but oh well everyone has their opinion.Good thing is Auburn sucked last year and they turned it around so we really don’t have to add that many pieces. We only lose Days,Eason, and X I’m guessing

Lol...sure he does. Wade didn't start coaching at LSU, he had coached before. That's a joke of an excuse.

this is exactly correct. Wade is building his program. has it always been easy? no, but you don't just flip a switch and start dominating a conference. he promised to get us relevant again in the college basketball landscape, and he's delivered. only time will tell how good of a program he can build. so far, I'll take what he's been able to achieve. we can only go up from here. BTFU

The only excuse I can make is Miller would’ve definitely been a difference in the shooting department
