I looked it up last week. $3 million buyout after April 1st. His base is currently $2.5 million with $150K annual escalators until '31. Also has incentives for making the NCAA and winning in the NCAA and ACC tournament.

No doubt. But the difference is I buy my family season tickets the day Wade is announced. Any other coach and I wait and see. You cant deny that a Wade hire would energize the shite out of the fan base.

Why don’t you look at their last year results? And what he did at LSU and the excitement he brought. If you don’t get it now you probably never will.

You had tickets? No? Thats what I thought

So the 13, 795 threads on this and McMahon were not enough so you had to start one more fricking thread to give you and your fellow junior high buddies a chance to fling more shite at McMahon and the team, right? Some of you are just fricking insufferable. We all know if the team is not successful McMahon willlikely be terminated, just let the god damned season play out without these continuous shite posts. Enough is fricking enough. Hopefully Thomas' return is imminent and we will see how much this improves the overall performace. They are not that far off and could land in the middle of the league and receive a bid.

Did CoachMc give any update on DJ’s return? I didn’t watch any post game pressers.

I have a feeling that even if he’s ready to go, we may hold him out tomorrow @UF regardless. @Ark this weekend could be tricky.

Why would LSU want him back after embarrassing the University and being insubordinate when asked to meet with the administration? He wasn't mistreated by LSU. He brought his suspension and firing on himself and he has admitted that.

I get that he brought excitement back to the PMAC. That is undeniable. I understand why his fans want him back. I think the SEC is stronger than when he left. Hell, Golden lead UF to a title in his third year. Bama, Tennessee, Auburn are all better than before.

It is obviously time for a change. McMahon has a low ceiling as an SEC coach. He had a small chance with a healthy Thomas. Don't give me the "argument. Tremont Waters was the straw that stirred the drink in Wade's first two seasons and had he been injured, Wade's results wouldn't have been so hot. One player can make a difference!!

Quit living in the past. There are better coaches for LSU to hire than a 12-6 coach at NC State

I like how you are trying to shite on wade and insinuate he is a bad coach.

Every program he has been at he has turned around.

He has been more active in certain drills, but was not yer ready for the rigors of game type competition. Sounds like he is close but they are not going to push it. The injury report issued tonight should give a good indication of where he is.

Not So Fast! "The contract’s buyout is $5 million if Wade leaves before April 1, 2026. It drops to $3 million if he leaves before April 1, 2027. The buyout decreases to $2 million if he leaves before April 1, 2028, and $1 million if he leaves before that date in 2029 or 2030."

Wade's NC State's contract $'s

Thanks. I suspect he’s going to remain doubtful until we get a green light, cleared for contact update from Coach. But I also have this uneasy feeling that if we lose to both @UF and @Ark this week for a 1-6 start, that maybe his team shuts him down for the season. I think the win this year past Saturday was helpful in that regard, because 0-7 would seem very likely to hit shutdown mode.

This is very true. The SEC got a lot tougher in the last 3 yrs across the board. I'm not so sure WW would've handled things better than McMahon. If WW was handed the same roster and having to rebuild, I'm not certain his record would be all that much better. WW had NBA talent on his teams.

I remember a lot of complaining about WW having a team that just played isolation and not running many plays or running an offense but just letting guys iso and do their thing. Now I wish WW could've stayed, but I'm not sold that he wouldn't instantly turn this thing around.

go up in the direct chain of command from anything LSU Mens Basketball head coach and let me know once you find someone who was in that position when Wade was at LSU.

The absolute definition of a fair weather fan that's more obsessed with a coach than an avid supporter of the program.
