It’s ok to say that you didn’t know he fired his 1st lawyer. You don’t have to dig yourself deeper pridey.

After he fired his first lawyer did anything change?

Because you talked about multiple “wrong actions” Wade took with his representation after the first lawyer was gone….

Steven Thompson was Wades lawyer through almost the entirety of his fight with the ncaa, and he did a fantastic job

lol at you calling Steven Thompson “poor representation”. Go lookup how many time he has buttfricked the ncaa

Go on. Like what?

Again, I’m not sure you are familiar with what went on and the timeline.

how many titles does Wade have again?

Titles? How many "Titles" does LSU basketball have in its entirety?

He has an SEC Championship.

It's difficult vs the Blue bloods, since we don't compete under the same rules.
Nor the same support by Administrations.

He had plenty of opportunity to own up when he was still at LSU. He was a cheater. Play by the rules. Integrity can't be taken away from you unless you give it away.

He cheated and should have been thrown to the curb. He screwed LSU plain and simple. At least he is owning up to his arrogance and cheating ways now. He lost his integrity and hopefully he is going to play by the rules now. Wins are not wins if they come by cheating. That goes for all sports at all levels.

Thank you Will Wade for two of the greatest years ever in basketball at Mcneese and also thank you LSU for Bill Armstrong he will pick up where Will Wade left off. Also LSU, Notre Dame thanks you for taking Brian Kelly. Way to go LSU keep helping all these other schools get better.

He seems to be doing and saying all the right things. He made a mistake a big one he learned from it and took ownership. We all have failed in life doing something we wish had not happen. Like the God Lord told his Apostles when they asked him how many times must we forgive others. He said not seven but seventy times seven. Lets forgive Wade and move on from him. Best of luck to him .

I hate that they didn’t bring him back. If he was retained or rehired and there were subsequent violations by the basketball program, they’d probably be vulnerable to institutional lack of control sanctions by the NCAA. I wish him well.

Wade would probably tell you that his biggest mistake was initially lawyering up and refusing to meet with the LSU admin when the whole mess started back in the Sweet 16 season.

Lawyering up and refusing to cooperate is absolutely the correct decision when one has an encounter with Joe Alleva.

Just ask Duke lacrosse

He has told us this. So you are right. But it’s funny people will still argue like he handled this right.

Yep. Other schools back their head coaches better. This will impact who comes here. You have to operate in the grey zone to be competitive and you need an administration that has your back. LSU has a track record compared to other schools in similar situations of not backing their guy.

Sure forgiveness is correct. But consequences are important and inevitable.
