I always thought the rant was mostly male. I'm beginning to wonder with all the emotional hand-wringing sandy vaginas we have here.
So the answer is yes, many that have not already will do so.

Yes. The rant has already forgotten that this season was predicted to be a rebuilding year. Odds makers and analysts were pretty consistent in calling a record just above 0.500.
It’s the same story every year where we buy into the fall camp buzz. The same coaching platitudes give us just enough hope to make fans over confident.
With that being said, no one expected special teams to be such a glaring weakness. Daniels can be a game manager, but O-Line injuries have exposed a drop off in depth. Denbrock has made the same mistake as Cameron in using higher protection formations that limit the receivers.

I think they turn on BK if he doesn’t try another QB when JD isn’t getting it done. People still have PTSD from Miles and JJ and this feels a lot like Miles and JJ.

I'm not really keeping a tab of wins and losses. But what upsets me is mediocre coaching and bad play as a result of it. A good to great coach should be able to take a rag tag team of misfits and turn them into a semi cohesive unit that improves and does the little things right.
If we're not doing stupid things on special teams (all aspects of special teams). Or going for dumb 4th downs that put us out of games or not giving us points. Or trying to create a pocket passer out of a running qb and a smash it up the middle run game with a young Offensive line. Then at least it will be tolerable to watch the improvements and we'll have a much better chance to make upsets and win the close games.
I admit to not being too high on the coaching staff after Saturday's game. If we had better decisions from them, then we very well could have pulled off an upset. Instead we gave them momentum at every turn. And broke our own backs going into half. Bad play begins at the very top of this team.
Hopefully that was a one off choke job.

At this point, it would be fantastic to see a team that is even ready to start playing ball at kickoff.

You know they will. Anything less than 7-5 will be hell to pay. I like Kelly and he was given a mess of a roster to start with. The bottom fourth of this roster should be playing for McNeese.

This year is all about laying the foundation for this program. For me, it's not about wins or losses. Obviously you want to beat the teams you're better than and we've done that up until now. It gets a bit murky because I don't actually know if we're better than Florida or Arkansas, but we should come away with a win against at least one of those. I still would like to see improvement in all 3 phases of the game as well.
