I'd say 95% of the fanbase supports Will Wade, with the remaining 5% being a segment of O pumpers who hate him due to jealousy and insecurity.

My dislike has nothing to do with Coach O.

Some think he cheated whether he did or it can be proven and the “tapes are enough to can him. I do not agree with this!

The LSU Vandy game last year when Will was cheered for for 3+ hours is the current standard for maximum coach support at LSU.

We did. And he left for the Miami Dolphins. I would tell you what happened after that fail, but it makes me vomit in my mouth.

say what??? Saban won the SEC and the Sugar Bowl in year 2, and won the national championship in year 4.

No one wanted him fired. Good lord.

A perfect season for an LSU fan would be to go undefeated, win a Natty and fire the head coach.

You are correct. If Wade's team wins 17 or 18 games next year, many of his "die-hard" supporters will be calling for him to be fired. The same crowd that wants O fired and PM fired and the same type crowd that wanted Saban fired for only winning 8 games every year and Skip fired for not winning the CWS for 2 straight years.

LSU has, in the past 15 years (ish?), had the best college football coach of all time and arguably the best college baseball coach of all time. both of who won national titles at LSU. Both programs have won national titles since those coaches left but I think we are still somewhat suffering the being in the wake of legends.

Coach O is a unique situation. There is no other major program he would have been hired to coach when he was hired on at LSU. But for unique reasons i was kind of ok with that hire. His recruiting is as good as anyone and the team had a great season last year with a new QB and a hideously difficult schedule (and i still say we won one more game than we got credit for). Nobody will compete with coach saban in terms of lore but i do think Coach O can get this program competitive with Alabama. it all hinges on how the offense evolves.

Coach Maneiri im not as sold on. He is a good coach and deserves some praise but the program has also slipped a bit since his best years at LSU. im on the fence if it means a change is due. That probably depends on back room discussions in terms of who is available.

If by some miracle of god, The entire state of Alabama was destroyed and we ended up with Saban again, maybe we would get 100% backing

No, not in the current era of rantards, social media disease, trollers starting bad rumors and everyone thinking their opinion affects if we hire or fire coaches (which it typically doesn't unless you are among the most powerful boosters and politicians in state). There is a segment of our fan base that is among the worst anywhere.

A mod at one of the other sites about decade ago said it best. There is a minority of sickos in our fan base who have a fantasy. The day when LSU wins its next NC in football and it fires its HC the next day. There are those who love to self hate or not even really fans but pose as them because they are stupid like that. Heck there are even folks hoping that the NCAA investigates B Ball and there is a real smoking gun out there on Wade so they can tell the rest of us "I told you so!" No we will never be 100% united. Maybe 90% - 95%. But only for a short while until the next loss:).
