If anything that comes from this, Jimbo's recruiting could hurt many SEC teams and other schools in Texas.

Why, will he be able to recruit more players than Sumlin was allowed?

kevin sumlin is a very good recruiter (esp at qb) and a less than average coach. his game plans were terrible from day 1. so yes, the aggies will be improved and will be more of a threat.

I am sure at some point ATM will win a game against us, so I guess for a brief period of time the Aggie fans Wii say they have passed us.

A&M will pass us by in the near future

you probably haven't been around that long. the aggies fielded better teams than LSU back in the 90's. the didn't "pass us by". they did, however, get caught cheating for about the 8th time and fell from grace.

fisher will have better teams than LSU somewhere along the line but it won't be every year. they will not dominate us like we've dominated them unless they start cheating again.

Jimbo's first hire at A&M is Dameyne Craig. Way to go coach. And LSU fans are scared !!!

How can anyone think they wouldn't be a threat with the right coach? They are just like we were before Saban arrived except with much much better facilities. If Jimbo still has it in him then they will be a major threat to us and everyone else in the SEC.

Yes they are a threat and Jimbo can Recruit. Just look at his classes at FSU. He will get a good defensive coordinator. SEC West just got tougher

Sumlin wasn’t the problem to begin with. Money doesn’t fix all problems. Sometimes it highlights them.

Honestly, I think that within a couple of years, Jimbo Fisher will have A&M playing tougher than they have been. I don't think they will be the doormats we are used to seeing when we play them, because he knows to focus on building his O- and D-lines first and knows how to recruit. I look for them to be more physical in the coming years, and not a finesse team that can't stop the run. Time will tell.

When was the last time O recruited a star QB or a NC team of players.

He hasn't been the head coach for a full year and this loon is crucifying O for not recruiting a star QB, despite the fact that O brought in two four stars and we haven't reached the signing day yet for 2018.

Moreover, O had a better season record than Jimbo had this season. You O hating Negatigers are so obsessed with hating O and Alleva for hiring O, that you're all freaking delusional.

No. Eaux is a much, much better coach and recruiter than Jimbo ever dreamed of being.

Well, this just isn’t true.

LSU plays them at the end of the year. We'll be fine. By that time we'll already know what the season looks like.

Aggies will be marginally better.
And will have paid WAAAY too much for that improvement.
LSU needs to worry about its own coaching staff and its HC in particular...

The word is kind of out on Jimbo, great recruiter but doesn't really develop players. Many are very good to great from the start, but few if any get better.

His record wasn't much better than Sumlin the last 3 years 26-12 vs 23-15 against lesser competition.

No, they are still an annually 8-5 team with Jimbo.

Texas and OU will continue to take the best players from Texas.
