This right here. We are stuck with Mcloser for the next couple of years. He has an 8 year contract and in Woody style he has a nice sized buyout.

The men’s program will be bleeding financially. Donors aren’t going support his buyout. Basketball lost a good bit of donors when Wade was fired.

The program is dead and you can thank Woody for killing it.

Gotta pay CMM 50% of his remaining contract money, 6 more years on that contract. I think Woody gives MM 4 seasons before pulling the plug. I would only give him 3.

Note: we'd hafta pay MM $9 million if we fired him in March, 2024.

Well anybody else they bring in will have to start from scratch. Maybe he can start from scratch better than the current failure. But then there is the buyout. So the question becomes is the buyout really too much to prevent the hiring of another coach.....like I said next season is going to be "starting from scratch" again

It becomes a sunk cost. Ticket sales and attendance are way down this year and that will only get worse if he does as bad or worse this year. Not even including Concession sales.
