Agreed, totally different types of players. Reid was and still is more of a stretch 4 who could shoot a bit from outside and like to put the ball on the floor (though he struggled a bit in that regard here).
Nwoko is the physical inside presence CMM has never had here and to me that has been a major weakness of his teams.

Nwoko is 22 years old and in 3rd year in the SEC
Reid was an 18yr old freshman 3 months out of HS- He was 6th MOY winner in the NBA at 22yrs old

I completely share your sentiment. But I go all the way back to Rudy, Astronaut, Cookie Man, HiC Carter, Ethan Martin etc....
The best team in school.history is still that 80-81 team, and I'm positive we win it all with a healthy Macklin in that Final 4.

Let's wait and see how they do these next couple of games,and the beginning games in SEC play after that we should be able to see if there good enough to get to the tournament!

I will be OVER THE MOON if McMahon gets us in the tournament every year with some occasional deep runs.
Which is EXACTLY what Wade was doing/going to do here over the next quarter century. IF our administration had any balls.
Through his first 3+ years here McMahon has shown very little promise of doing this.
The worst thing this "coach" we have now can do is sneak into the tournament and lose early. It would give you mediocrity lovers all the ammo you would need to retain this clown.
