I feel like he did a pretty decent job this year considering what he has to work with.

Not likely. Looks like Brad Davis may be the only guy returning.

Word is LSU is trying to bring in Terry Joseph from Texas to be the other DB coach. With House not known as a lights out recruiter, they are likely looking for a proven recruiter in that spot.

It's pretty poor form to keep the guy from the previous regime and demote him. Not many people would take that offer up.

He’s a good coach. If this season was a job interview for him he passed with flying colors.

He will probably get a chance as a DC somewhere if that’s what he wants.

My guess is he probably goes back to the nfl as a secondary coach.

It'd be cool to see him get another shot as a DC with an FBS team now that he's had some legit SEC experience.

"Looks like Brad Davis may be the only guy returning."

And that's not a 100% certainty if the OL stinks it up in the Bowl and British Knight doesn't like what he sees there. (Or even in the Spring)

He gonna shite when he sees the LSU OL in action, as opposed to what he was used to at Notre Dame......

He was the Chosen One that preferred the same kid of defense Coach O wanted to run. He came in on the side of the ball LSU was stacked on.

I like what he did the last four games of the season. But the first eight games he was below average at best. He did not pass with flying colors.

His last four games and if there is a good showing in the bowl game will get him a chance somewhere else, but you cannot say he passed with flying colors when you look at the season as a whole.

I need this comment explained. What did Jones pass? LSU's defense is ranked 61 in the nation. In only 3 games did they perform to a acceptable level.

Wow, it only took him 8 games and Lane Kiffin telling O what was wrong for them to fix it. He will get an NFL gig again which is a good move for him. Another panic hire by O because no one with experience wanted to work for him.
