Eason from Washington, Tua from Bama or the guy from Oregon I wouldn't trade Joe for any of those guys and their all good QB's.

Love Joe but that’s a bit extreme.

PTI is one of the few shows on ESPN that I still watch but their takes on college football or any college sport for that matter are always terrible

Hate to say it , but I sort of agree.

Tua was put into the national championship game and lead Bama to a win 2 years ago.

Tua came into a loud and jacked tiger stadium and blew the doors off of us.

Burrow needs to lead us to victory in Tuscaloosa next Saturday to confirm the praise.

They were comparing Tua to Joe and Wilbon called out scouts and evaluators for being lazy thinking Burrow should be drafted higher. He said Burrow hasn’t done jack in pressure situations. He loves Tua and thinks he has performed under pressure. I’m sure Joe would love to keep hearing this the rest of the season.

I wish I'd see more posts on this board like this than all the smoke up the tail pipe

Tua had to be pulled from the SEC CCG and lost the NCG. Really delivered in those pressure situations last year.

Tua’s reputation is built on one pass vs UGA’s busted coverage two years ago.

Tua is a great QB, but Burrow is 10x tougher than Tua and not throwing 5-yard passes that turn into TDs every other throw.

Burrow also took a traditional dinosaur offensive team and has turned it into the most talked about offense in all of college football with his potentially record-breaking pinpoint accuracy with the football in a brand new offense.

Wilbon has always been a Pro sports guy who doesn't know shite about college sports and just comments on big games or stories.

Look at who Burrow has thrown against verses who Tua has thrown against. Someone did the opponent's win percentage, LSU was sitting at ~60% and Bama at ~40%. I'm not knocking Tua, but saying he's performed better under pressure? Based on what? He choked hard last year against Clemson as well.

EVERYTHING on TV is scripted. Remember it, write it down, take a picture...... I don’t give a frick, but you’d better not forget it.

"EVERYTHING" huh?

So what's the scripted score for the LSU/Bama game?

This is why I don't listen to or read what almost any of the talking heads have to say. There is a very small number of people who's opinions are worth jack.

Burrow has been in COUNTLESS pressure situations, and his ability to throw under literal pressure, not just figurative, is PRECISELY what sets him apart from Tua.

Put Tua under some duress and he does what most QB's do... He makes bad throws. Joe seems unfazed, and keeps throwing strikes. And his downfield accuracy blows Tua away.

Wilbon is basing his opinions on what he thinks he knows about Tua, without digging into his numbers in all situations, and what he thinks he knows about Burrow, because he probably didn't know his name before this year, and assumes he must be lucky. THAT is lazy.

Y'know, in looking at the passrush and how Burrow has to move in the pocket, still find his guy, and then contort to get that pass off-

I don't know that there's 5 QBs in the NFL that can make that pass. That's 22 yds in the air, with some zip, totally wrong-footed, and somebody about to hit him in the ribs. Right on stride on the numbers.
Brees can, Mahomes can, pretty sure Brady and Wilson can.

Others can MAKE that throw maybe, but wouldn't find the WR. Or could see him but couldn't get it off with enough juice to not get picked off.
