There are certain un defendable positions for Democrats

If somebody feels compelled to bring something up and ruin my enjoyment I bring that up to them and tell him if that's their belief they should just shut up

Actually in California everyone of her friends who were Democrat knew i was Republican and never did that to me.

Never once treated me like that.

These people came from Hawaii .

To be honest seeing the posts it looks like a reflection of where our country is at right now. Very polarized on either side.

It is the MSNOW versus Fox News.

I would never marry someone I am incompatible with, including not sharing political ideology. My wife and I don't align 100% of the time, but probably a solid 90% we agree on, and the rest is pretty insignificant.

Politics matter, sadly, and seeing eye to eye is one less hill for us to climb, with marriage already being what it is and all.

I am the same way. I didn't always feel this way, either. The stakes are just too high today. They stand for everything I oppose and against everything I favor. I left a band in which I had played for 21 years because of their TDS and liberal, leftist leanings and support. I feel much better with that poison out of my life and social activities. I used to agree with Thomas Jefferson's philosophy on having friends with a different political belief. Not anymore. Times are different now.

100%. Back in the 90s and 2000s it was mostly policy differences or differences on taxes. It was things you could disagree with while not threatening the marriage, relationship or friendship. Now it's truly moral differences and differences in what you want to see this country become.

I've genuinely cut off friendships and relationships since 2017 due to what the Democrats have become. All they do is create drama and stress in my life. Like you, I feel a lot better knowing I have friends who truly share my moral views and knowing I have cut toxic and poison former friends out of my life.

Some people suck.

I have friends who are staunch democrats. They cant help but get on Trump rants these days, and I just mhmm them and they either catch themselves doing it, or I hang up on them, and they call back and apologize because they know they did it again.

We get along fine. We just dont talk politics.

I don't think it is that but I think there are positions that cannot be defended as a democrat and if you support that your entire life as a human being has to be brought into question

You nailed it. The other night I engaged with a neighbor on social media about how her kids are subjected to watch the execution. I pointed out it will be while kids are in school and it comes down to the parents to supervise and moderate devices their children have. A crazy local woman who is all about politics started trying to make it about Trump and demanded I share my side. I didn’t give in and eventually she just anointed my opinion for me. The bitch got so triggered I called her ma’am and she said not to call her such so each reply not being political and sticking with parental moderation I said maam which triggered her even further. The neighbor then shares another post a day later saying how she’s not political towards her friends but blah blah blah. Yeah dude it’s all lunatics mad about Trump. Hence why I don’t give into men here doing the same thing acting like babies over politics.

Just understand, you're going to have to make a decision. You need to have a long talk with your wife about how last night was unacceptable to you and that it took all you had not to challenge them right there.

I would honestly tell her she has to choose between you or those friends from last night. That those "friends" are no longer invited over, nor would you all be attending any future events with those "friends".

Then talk about all of your viewpoints. If you agree on most moral things and simply disagree more on policy and fiscal issues, perhaps your marriage can be saved. But if you find your disagreements are truly based on morals, how you two see the world and what you all want the U.S. to become, then I would start preparing for the divorce now.

One of my best friends I have has turned into a regarded liberal. We all know it’s because of his wife. Anyhow, this is a rule just never talk politics. There are 4 of us that grew up and are still very close. Three of us just know that outside our group he is misguided but inside he is still one of the boys. We just avoid the topic and we get along great.

I don't understand why or how any normal American could ever be friends with Democrats who are openly pushing to turn our country into a communist country

This is the part that isn't talked about enough and why being unequally yoked is a major issue. Men, when committed, typically are committed in a very hardcore manner. They don't want to quit and will work extremely hard to make the marriage work. Men also value peace. It's a very high likelihood that a man married to a leftist woman will acquiesce to keep the peace and will lose alot of himself in the process.

Let the Karen b*tch have it.

Why did you marry a Karen anyway, assuming she is caucasian.

Learn the art of diplomacy, you can engage with these retards. Your special power is that they all base their decisions on ... emotion (not fact(s)).

Your wife should have stepped up and put a stop to it. It just shows her priorities. Party over principle is their motto.

It’s always because of the wife, family or friends. Don’t understand caving to that over knowing what’s right. Cut them off.

It's honestly amazing how entitled the left is. They introduce, many times, moral claims into a discussion and when questioned on their thoughts and beliefs, it doesn't take long before they turn to ad hom attacks and eventually to the victim card and they make you out to be the big bad bully for simply making them show their work.
