OL was below average with protection with Will Campbell having his worst game ever. Campbell got our QB almost killed. The front DL was below average as they have been all year. This is the worst DL I have seen in 30 years. On defense LSU has only 4 good players and they are all LBs. If Campbell hadn't missed his block we would have had a shot at out scoring AL, but we will never know.

Big cheap shot. Did you even watch the game?

No matter how many touchdowns we would have could have scored, Alabama was gonna match it. What game were you watching?

It never ceases to amaze me how differently people see the same exact world around us. How one can watch that football game and say anything other than “LSU lost because they could not get any type of consistent defensive stops” is maddening.

Defense allowed 11 of 14 third downs to be converted. Think about that.

LSU decided not to play defense this year. That’s it.

Prior to the tipped pass INT, Turner had 2 tackles, both after Daniels had run for significant yards (25 & 9 yards for first downs.)

Turner, as much as we dislike him for the targeting of Daniels, Turner is an elite pass rusher. No left tackle is going to be perfect against him. Campbell did as well as could be expected.

We lost this game because our linebackers played with their backs to Milroe way too often.

Because our defense is bad. Stop. Period. End of story.

Everything else you wrote is gibberish.

Yes, but the offense shouldn’t have to be perfect.

What?

Did you watch the same game as everyone else?

To even slightly blame anyone on the OLine outside of Charles Turner is fricking ridiculous

Campbell had a great game outside of that one pressure and with a player like Dallas Turner, he will get his a few times a game.

Adjusting to spy Milroe was obvious and Kelly acknowledging it makes me want to know why we couldn’t make mid game adjustments. If Perkins spied the whole game we win that game.

Mason Taylor’s drop was definitely where the tide turned in the game

Let’s not forget the atrocious defensive scheming

We spied Milroe once that I can recall and got a big stop

Beyond that House was picking random plays like he was playing Madden

I refuse to believe the defensive talent is this bad. It’s not great, but it’s not historically bad as we are seeing

Defense left gaping holes for Milroe to drive a truck through, that’s the main reason

The OL played very well. The LSU game I watched must have been a game you didn't see.
