Banged up, bats gone cold, and Milazzo is great behind the plate.

Wind blowing in
Defensive catcher is most important with small ball

Milazzo currently has a higher CWS avg by whatever his batting avg is because Trav’s is 0.

Milazzo stops runners advancing & Trav has allowed runs on pass balls.

Travinski is great but with runs being more difficult to come by & Johnny whole staff on the mound this move made sense today.

Milazzo has been severicable at the plate. Trav has been in a slump, and he doesn’t help the pitchers nearly as much.

Wind blowing in and is a power hitter, hasn’t been hitting, average catcher to a top tier defensive catcher in Milazzo.

He's not banged up any more than anyone else at this point of the season. Where did you get that news sparky? Travinski's bat is more needed than Milazzo's glove, particularly with Skenes pitching. If Skenes does pitch, Travinski will be in the lineup. Jones need to start in place of Pearson, period.

It was mentioned multiple times during the last 2 games by the TV announcers. But, they did you the term a "little" banged up. I'm hoping it was more of a rest and defensive strategy thing, and he I'd able to play if the situation calls for it

Travinski had a nice second half of the year, but the fact remains that he is a terrible defensive catcher; it is that simple.

You don’t see the difference behind the plate? Travenski isn’t hitting so he’s a liability .

He's batting better than Tommy White, Thompson, Jobert, Pearson, and Dugas.

Only Beloso and Morgan are ahead of him.

Plus he's the best on the team at receiving the ball.

Milazzo is also buying strikes for the pitchers. He is way better at framing a pitch. Love Travinski, I see him pumping the team up on the bench. But for his career he may need to learn first base.

Banged up. If the wind changes you put him back in the lineup well rested.

Sparky huh? That’s a new one on this board gramps. Maybe get your hearing checked since they’ve mentioned it on the broadcast more than once.

Milazzo

This baw is a defensive genius. We need his skills behind the plate with these low scoring games.

His last ab in the 1st WF game, it appeared to me that he was grimacing when running to 1b. He was replaced the following 1/2 in.

I didn’t think much into it at the time bc Milazzo to play defense at the end of the game is normal. Travinski not playing B2B especially when there were some spots he could have PH (not just for Milazzo) tells me he is hurting. Really sucks that it appears Neal is unavailable bc you want to be able to PH Milazzo if the situation arises late in a gane.
