He shouldn't have opted out.

He was good and has all the talent for a first rounder but he never really thrived as "the man, receiver #1" IMO. I think he will be picked in the 2nd and will have a solid career though.

Opt out before biggest game of the year and injury history was a red flag. Kid got some shite advice. Should have been a sure fire first rounder with his speed and size.

Was ready to play when the game was postponed. Would've probably had a decent game in a blowout.

Would playing those extra games have healed his prior injuries that concerned teams at the medical combine?

He quit playing to heal from the injuries. Don’t be dense.

I definitely think he is good enough to be a first round draft pick.

But he will still do well in the NFL and I expect him to be picked sometime Friday night.

He isn’t. He was always expected to go round 2 with some mocking him late in the first but his injury history is a big red flag.

Be objective about Marshall. He does not have great separation, and he has not shown an ability to dominate competitive passes. If I’m drafting a receiver in the top 25 picks, he has to have shown one of those along with size and speed.

I think Marshall might show the ability to win jump balls, but that depends on being able to catch while being jostled. There are doubts about this with Marshall. I see Marshall as going somewhere between 26 and mid-second.

Yet that midget Waddle was picked

Waddle has elite separation ability. Receivers have to be able to either get open or dominate on jump balls. Waddle checks one of those boxes; Marshall does not.

Elijah Moore is still out there too and will prob go ahead of TM. It’s ok, more to fuel the fire and prove himself

You can’t teach 6’3” and can carry 220 with a 40+“ vertical and strong hands. Don’t act like Marshall wasn’t the BEST receiver in his class in HS and was Burrow’s favorite target until he was injured.

Here is what I’ll guarantee you: if Marshall goes to somewhere with a decent QB and culture, he has the frame to be an all pro within 3 years of training and conditioning. He is an ELITE talent especially in the red zone.

I posted this before, the guy is a faster version of Andre Johnson if you add about 15 LBs to his frame.

I was just channel surfing yesterday so I forgot whose mock draft it was, but one of the commentators had him at 22.

He was always late 1st at best, 2nd rounder at worst

He probably won't last past the 1st half of he 2nd round
