re: Why is LSU always so bad at everything when it comes to gameday experience?

Well if this isn't the pot calling the kettle black I don't know what is. You are easily one of the dumbest posters on this entire board.

It's Louisiana, the state is so behind and the people there love it.

3.) The fans leave early after halftime and kill the vibe in the stadium (maybe fewer people would leave if the traffic situation wasn’t so terrible)
The people who get mad at individuals making individual decisions based on their individual lives need to grow up and worry about themselves.
People leave early for any number of reasons. They are not trying to hurt your overabundant tiger passion feelings.

This is working out nicely for me. LSU needs to get their shite together with the campus crime. We all know why and who is responsible. Identify them and get them off the campus

Last game I went to was the Ala/LSU when Hurts hurt us late with the TD run with 5 holding calls that weren't called. Tailgated all day, weather was perfect, crowd amazing, game not so much. The experience inside the stadium was nothing like what I grew up watching. The extra seats IMO has ruined what was golden in the 60's, 70's and much of the 80's with more of a intimate crowd, then they moved the student section to the endzone instead of the 30/40 yard line them and the band were on. Been offered tickets every year and passed.

Maybe it isn't that LSU is bad. Maybe it's that our spoiled arse fanbase doesn't appreciate anything different than the childhood image of what it was like to go to an LSU game.
I get what you're saying, and I partially agree. As one of the old geezers here that remember when Woodley and Ensminger were trading in-game reps my early experiences in the stadium are definitely different from what game-goers get today.
That said...
...I also think that a lot of what's been changed in CFB hasn't necessarily been for the better. Instead of making the experience more enjoyable and relevant for the current crop of fans, the experience has instead been tailor-made to maximize the revenue at every possible point.
Yes, some of that revenue generation is geared to appeal to "the younger crowd" (well, younger than me) - laser displays, overly loud DJ music, etc. But there's no excuse for the terrible concessions and conveniences, the interminable "TV time-outs" that add over an hour to each game, and the traffic snarls getting to and from the game.
And that revenue generation? You almost have to mortgage your first-born kid to pay for good seats at a good game, and park, and pay for concessions that you wouldn't feed to a death-row convict.
So, yeah, I get it that the fanbase has changed demographics, and some changes needed to be made to accommodate current likes and dislikes. But IMO most of the changes have only served to make the overall in-game experience much worse than it was "in my day" - no matter what you compare or how you compare it.
Now GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

s there anything our fans don’t complain about? Most miserable fan base on earth. Honestly don’t know why some of yall bother being fans because it’s like you hate being a fan
So what's the problem with fans wanting to improve the experience? Who's against that? How bad does it have to get before fans complain? FTR, improvements are possible.
It seems as if this Admin is compelled to shoehorn the TS experience into some benigh, plain, vanilla dish.

This is such a lazy and pathetic way of looking at things. It’s typical of Louisiana people though, so I’m not surprised at all. If you ask them to make things better, they become offended and just tell you to frick off and leave rather than accepting the constructive criticism that would help them to make everything better for everyone.
That’s why our state sucks so bad and is close to last place in every metric.

It is sad that so many still living there just accept it and get angry at anyone saying “you can’t accept anything but your childhood memories of what it was like to go to a game”
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that I could take my family to a game without walking through block after block of marijuana smoking thugs and shady looking people walking around making you feel like shits about to get bad at any moment.
It doesn’t have to be that way and to expect otherwise is called having standards for the university. But I realize LSU isn’t interested in my demographic as much as they apparently are some others so I just keep my money and watch the games on tv. I won’t support it financially or go back to a football game until the campus is rid of a certain type of people. If folks can’t follow rules of society and behave like they are more intelligent than monkeys then I don’t care to be around it and I’m sure I’m not alone in that

I don’t think anyone is focused on concessions but rather the trend of shootings on campus and drug use around people tailgating.

Because Louisiana has the least educated people and at the same time most negative fans in the country.Everything LSU does sucks to a lot of people who post on here.

And, no, it's not being pampered to expect that you don't spend over half the time at the stadium waiting on TV timeouts, or waiting in long lines for subpar concessions, or waiting to get into the bathroom, fighting traffic for an hour or more each way, and getting nickle-and-dimed to death for every damn thing.
All those things contribute to "watching the game" if you choose to do so live, in person, at the stadium.
If the only thing you care about is "just watching the game" you can do that from the luxury of your own couch, in HD, with better food and no crowds, and you can pause the action to take a piss break and not miss anything in the process. You can get up afterwards and go to bed or out to dinner or whatever else you choose without fighting traffic for an hour (or more). And if you start watching 30-40 minutes after the game starts you can even FF through most of the timeouts.
It's not a boomer thing, kiddo. Maybe you don't care so much about that perspective, but a lot of other people do. Truth is, though, that the in-game experience isn't very good anymore for a lot of people, regardless of whether you're a boomer or GenZ.
