Why do people always say LSU needs to play instate teams after they have a good season

Tulane has 1 solid season and all of a sudden LSU needs to play them regularly.

ULL has 1 solid season and it’s the same thing.

These programs can’t string together a decade of consistent winning. People need to stop these nonsense narratives. Louisiana isn’t South Carolina or Kentucky. There’s not two P5 teams that standout. There’s LSU then there’s the rest G5. Put it to bed.

I always say we should play Tulane

But there is a normal urge to put them in their place after a season of them talking shite

Do they really think last season that they would beat LSU? Come on. LSU freaking beat Alabama and won the SEC West.

I don’t mind a rotation but that horseshite deal Skip signed with Tulane was pointless.

I don’t have an interest in helping the instate schools benefit at our expense. Not when you see them pull shite like Tulane does during baseball season

Nothing to gain by playing Tulane in anything. They always play 10X's over their head.

Over 80 percent of Tulane students are from out of state. Would rather that money going to students from the state if we talking about keeping money in the state.

There aren't really any major teams in the state that qualify. Who would they play that are on the same level?

Nah, they had several very good seasons.

2019 11-3
2020 10-1
2021 13-1

Not that that should have any bearing on whether they play LSU or not.

I don’t think LT, Tulane or ull will ever be the team/program that lsu will be, but you don’t want them to win one game against you.

Others argue that Auburn or Florida State would benefit by local Nola recruits seeing their school play Tulane.

It’s a lose lose all around.

I say you play your sec schedule and try to get games with usf, UCF, Houston, fau, fiu, g tech and smu for cucpakes in fertile cities.

We should NEVER play toolame in ANY sport.
USL should also never be on our schedule.
It is pointless to help these 2 low-lifes.

Not me. When we play New Mexico or UAB all we have to do is win the game. When we play Tulane or ULL we have to win by a certain margin. Otherwise they'll use a close game against LSU as a recruiting tool. I don't want to help them get better.
