Obviously not. It’s documented history Les loved his athletic quarterbacks

Except for Russell Shepard of course, possibly the most athletic

Was still better than anything JJ and JL were.

It was pouring rain that day. I would take those stats with a grain of salt during a time when football was played much differently.

Compare NFL careers. I'll help you, Perrilloux didn't have one!

He had a lot of average performances and did not play good football in our 2 losses in 2007.

How many points did we score in those two losses?
The two starting DL were out in those games.
We had Arkansas beat and when the Dumb A DE roughed their QB after the play was over.

I think Myles Brennan should have had a better shot this past year

Flynn got hurt somewhere early on, which is why Ryan11 started the MTSU game the week before SC.

forgot how mediocre Flynn was

This is unpopular but true. The first half of the season, he was average at best. Game manager. Improved as the season went on. I don't get people that say he was better than Mauck. Mauck was a playmaker with his feet(until he got hurt, then Saban/Jimbo backed off of it), and played as a sophomore and was very good as a junior(28 TDs). His sophomore season we were one of the hottest teams in the country before he got hurt and we tanked after. He/we would have been great if he stayed his senior year. Flynn only played his senior year and was average (21 TDs). Obviously serviceable and good enough to get the ball to the playmakers around him.

I remember being impressed by his confidence. I even told a friend the night before the Green Bay game that he was absolutely going to roll in that offense. Then again, I also had him on my fantasy team before the Russell Wilson entry. And, LSU was second in the SEC in rushing that year.

I think you must have forgotten how it was. JJ and JL both made mistakes, plenty of them. But they usually played decently quickly.

Mett's first couple games as a starter, it was painful. He'd take the snap (against cupcakes, no less), and just stand there like he was counting the fans in the endzone. You'd get a linebacker run damn near to the sideline, and then take a 40 yd sprint at Mett's back. Everyone in the whole stadium would be screaming "just throw the ball, dammit! LOOK OUT!!"
And then, BLAM

Defense gives up a million points so you blame the QB. I also recall the TE dropping a TD pass.

The better question is why didn't Mettenberger start in 2011?

I understand Mett not starting but no reason he didn’t get more good playing time considering all the blowouts

I can answer that one, that's easy. Perriloux was not interested in being the starter in 2007 or 2008 and beyond. The reason he was more interested in drugs and fricking off. I will prove it to ya, why did he get kicked off the team?? Case closed. Let's talk about Myles Brennan cause he is in the current right now. Glad I can help u out with what everyone already knew

Tell me more about all the open receivers the offensive braintrust was allowing him...

Flynn was far better than the average QB. He played in the NFL for years backing up Brett Farve. He was also an exceptional leader. He also threw the ball better. He was a very confident player and had discipline. Because of lack of those 2 things Perilloux was never a factor in the NFL.

You’re a jerkoff dude. Every time they gave Mett a chance to throw he was successful.
