Why did Wake fans show up and LSU fans did not?

It was the most disappointing crowd I have ever witnessed at a LSU sports event. Literally no energy. Our fans were scared to death to cheer, no faith in their team.

Why did Florida State fans take over the Superdome?

LSU fans are entitled. It is like Super Bowl for WF fans.

Cuz they were all at Rocco’s throwing money at the patron-assaulting owner

I think a lot has to do with placement of ESPN mics. And if you pay close attn the crowd mic would go completely mute from time to time but you could still hear the PBP guys calling the game (that was really annoying)

I assume that was ESPN producers switching their live crowd mic feed from LSU fans to WF section or vice versa

We couldn't see Guillot from RF.

Didn't know if we were yelling "Geaux" or "Tigers" so we just sat there.

This! I won't go as far to claim WF bias, but there was just a lot more focus on WF fans & the analytics guy. Behind the plate and when they zoomed out into the stands a few times, did appear to have more LSU fans in attendance; they just chose different shots during the game.

It did seem like everytime LSU would get an L-S-U chant going, WF would drown them out with whatever that chant was they were doing

That was because the umpires are (stupidly) mic'd up and they were hitting the dump button anytime a curse word was said by the umpire, hitter or catcher.

Had nothing to do with the crowd.

My wife does not follow baseball at all and only watches LSU games if I have the game on in the den; and even she was asking what's the big deal with the guy, don't all teams use analytics?

The camera sure focused on the WF fans. Not sure there were less LSU fans there...

We also got to watch a whole inning of Skenes' face instead of the game. I love Skenes, but the production crew for the CWS is terrible.

Except for whoever was in charge of the crowd shots during the Tennessee v Stanford game. That guy should get a promotion.

And I love Skenes. But he does kinda come across as a guy wayy too smart to be a ball player.
