Why did Vandy play A&M so tough?

Did anyone check out the game? Vandy was a 30 point underdog but barely lost? Are they that much improved or did A&M play that badly?

Vandy isn't going to lay down, especially after pushing A&M in College Station while starting a true freshman QB and without their best defensive player.
To answer your question, A&M looked absolutely terrible...mostly their own undoing. It could've easily been a 31-3 game had they not pissed the bed multiple times.

Mond isn't good and TAMU lost a shite ton of players from last year's team too (injuries, covid, transfers).
