Mond is usually bad BUT 2-3 games a year he puts it together like 2018 vs LSU.

I dont know a ton about Derek Mason but he was one of the coaches in the espn film room for the title game a few years back and he seemed like a good guy, seemed very quick and someone the players would love.

Like the Ms St game, half our secondary was out for that game.
Mond is the most over hyped player in the conference.

Mason is a great defensive coach and his avandy teams often have very good defenses when the personnel is right. This is especially true early in the season before the run into any injury and depth issues. This isn’t going to be a cakewalk for our offense.

Surely their offense will not be as productive as States'.
If Our OL does their job, we will score.

Vandy's defense will play our offense tough. The difference is our D's ability to create turnovers. When they do, we need to score TD's. We need to be ready for a fight for 3 quarters. Think we distance in the 4th.

Kevin Mond is the best QB in the SEC ... just ask him.

Mond, a four-star prospect out of IMG Academy three years ago, is perpetually calm and typically understated, save for one uncharacteristic moment nearly a year ago at SEC Media Days, when he boldly asserted he was the best quarterback in the SEC.

Hey Kevin. Talk is cheap.

Mond was 17/28 for 189 and 1 TD.

He's the same Mond we've seen every year.

Danny Etling was a better QB.

Vandy isn’t as bad as everyone acts. They’re not Kansas bad. A&M is overrated again. Shocker! On a good day Vandy could stay within 14 of us that’s like a very very good day.

Danny was better than a lot of QBs. People need to quit the narrative that Etling sucked. He would be better in this offense than Brennan.

His Average stats against TAMU were 350 yards and 2.5(maybe 3) TDs

Did anyone check out the game? Vandy was a 30 point underdog but barely lost? Are they that much improved or did A&M play that badly?

Vandy is often a tough out early in the season, especially their defense. They just never have depth, so once injuries and fatigue set in over an SEzc schedule, they typically start having issues later mid to late season.
