I believe he opted out because he saw how bad our O line was going to be this year, and he was afraid of getting hurt, but Moscona (ESPN BR Radio) claims that there was another reason? Anyone with Sauces know what the Hell Moscona is talking about?

Would the Oline have that much of an impact on his possible injury?

He's probably alluding to the unconfirmed rumor that Chase opted out because Clark or some surrogate convinced Chase's parents that Orgeron wasn't adequately sympathetic to certain social movements. It's all wild speculation. And it's all been aired here before.

He took a huge risk by sitting out.... I have a feeling that he left because he was scared of an injury..... while I can understand that to a point.... but playing this year would have helped him more than hurt him..... I think he can be a star, but NFL Gm’S all look at what have you done for me lately........and they have not seen Chase in game action in a year.......

Chase’s father said the “social issues” were part of the equation on 104.5. Whether or not Clark was involved, who knows, but Chase’s father said Clark hadn’t been in contact with them.

How would the quality of the oline affect a WR’s chances of being hurt? The things people think of to support their stupid narratives.

Maybe he opted out because his neighbor - not the one right next to him, but the one two doors down - got a new lawnmower, and Chase was afraid the new lawnmower might throw a rock and hit him. So he had to move, but if he stayed at LSU he would have to apply for a new residence, and - stay with me here - it would take two months to get it resolved, and that would put him six weeks into grass cutting season, a thing not to be tolerated.

LSU's compliance dept was going to limit how much of the 10 game season he could play

He opted out because he wouldnt look bad doing it with covid and because nothing positive could happen to his draft stock but negatives were on the table. Like injury

People forget he "sat out" the Northwestern State game in 2019...it wasn't because of injury

Because he is a guaranteed 1st rounder and agents could advance money earlier this year because of Covid.

You’re thinking of fans. NFL GM’s job is to see the big picture.

If it was weed ,you would have seen a gradual increase of suspensions and the lengths f those suspensions increasing each time.

Do yall really think that all of the prospects that opted out were covering something up.

There were a ton of 1st ,2nd ,and 3rd rounders that opted out too . They arent all potheads

Jeff could, and possibly would ,do the same thing if hes in chase's shoes one day.

Just keep up with your Jeff and quit bashing a guy for doing what 10 or more of the 1st round prospects did

No sauces but I did hear a rumor that he was going to have to miss games and they didn't want the reason public for Draft reasons. IDK how true it is.

Makes sense considering he was big into the "Let Us Play" twitter campaign.

That or am Agent offered him too much money to turn down.
