Why couldn’t Peetz call the entire season like he called the last drive?

Get your athletes the ball and let them work. Quick routes.

He probably wasn't calling the last drive. We were just throwing to the sideline.

If you'd have listened to O's radio show you'd know why. O had final say on plays.

Is that why every play was snapped with under 5 seconds left on the play clock? Needed the extras time for O’s approval? I love O, just not as the LSU HC, but damn that is some dumb shite.

Man y’all are some none plating football people if the quarterback would throw the fricking ball maybe we would have won a few more games damn max isnt the guy

He called one good drive and you are forgetting that he called a screen pass with no timeouts and 30 seconds left.
It was an utterly stupid call and he lucked out that the walk-on dropped it.

Well he threw it the last drive, wonder what was diff.
Let's see only rushed 3, so the line actually could handle the rush so he had time.
Hard to throw the ball when a defender is in ur face as soon as you hit the last step of your drop, then your escape is blocked by another rusher who also beat your blockers.

MAX didn't have time to think on the last play it was all instinct. That's why it worked. The talent is there, just too much indecision.

Through mental telepathy or something? Watch any video and you can certainly see that there is minimal back and forth dialogue.

See this is what I’m talking about he didn’t have time to throw the ball on that last pass he got crushed right after he let it go so no he didn’t have time and that’s what saved him he overthinks it too much idk if he is scared to throw a int or whatever the case is he needs to give his receivers the chance to make a play I can think of another qb who was exceptional at throwing to his receivers and letting them make a play need I say who it is

I hear you, but a coach can't call plays like that during the regular game.
During the last two minutes when we're behind, coaches don't worry about risk. They do anything and everything to try to score.
That doesn't happen during the first 3 quarters.

A half second later Max is leveled and that play doesn't happen...

maybe it took him 9 games to make the connection due to his obvious lack of experience.

O wasn't often seen saying much through his headset when we were on offense, so I think he was just saying he had veto power if he didn't like something.

A&M was in a prevent defense.
