think CBK is following the rules. The rest of the SEC is laughing at that rule, and doing creative things to get around it so their teams are better prepared.

You’re going to have to report your proof to SEC and NCAA offices or admit you just pulled this out of your arse.

Nothing screams “we aren’t serious about our football program” like trying to bargain shop for your head coach
Didn't say bargain shop. I responded to someone who asked what's out there now. I said that we are stuck with Kelly for now. In 4 years the unknowns will be known and there will be good coaches to choose from. And, they don't have to be as established as a Kelly or Jimbo when he was hired.

Really? Think so?

Because uhhhhh...... college football players (not me) have been saying they practice more than 20 hours a week for a long time. Tyson Jackson played at LSU, and in the NFL. He said:

[. "You wake up early in the morning, especially at LSU where we set up all our classes in the morning," said Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Tyson Jackson, the No. 3 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, describing a typical college day. "At noon you get yourself some lunch, then one (o'clock) you're at the football facilities and you're watching film until about 2-2:30. By 2:30, you're on the field until about 6." ]
LINK

PAC-12 surveys show way more than 50 hours...
["PAC 12 surveys report athletes in all sports averaging 50 hours per week spent on athletics activity.].
LINK

NCAA surveys of student athletes also show college football players spending MORE THAN TWICE the 20 hour limit on football activities -- i.e., "practice".
LINK

There's also this widely cited article.
LINK

so .... I cite sources and references for the things I say here. YOU say "low-IQ".

NCAA does not allow team practice more than 20 hours per week.

I don't do that.

Go read the article I already read. ( LINK)

Pay particular attention to:
"said John Roush, a former college football player and coach....."

and also
"The Detroit Free Press cited...."

Regardless, they are allotted 4 hours a day if the 20 hour rule a week is true. I imagine some coaches push those boundaries but not 6-8 hours a day.

They push the boundaries by practicing on their own. Especially QB and WR groups on the field and film room.

20 hours a week of physical team practice is more than enough. More than that an you will burn the players out. I don't believe the NFL has more than 4 hours a day of team practice. The rest of the day is spent in the weight room and film room. Maybe low intensity workouts and walk throughs but nothing highly physical for more than 20 hours per week. I bet you would get diminishing returns with more than 20 hours a week of high intensity physical practice. It's about quality reps, not the number of reps, IMO.

The stuff before 2 doesn't really count IMO.

SMH.

Former players, current and former coaches, surveys of student-athletes commissioned by the conferences AND by the NCAA all say that D1 football players spend more than 20 hours a week on football practice.

I posted an article, from ESPN, quoting a former LSU player explaining how it worked at LSU when he played there. He spent 5-6 hours a day practicing. Not counting travel to games, time at games.

Or it could be that our first 3 games were on the road in Vegas vs Southern Cal, then home vs Nichols, and then on the road vs South Carolina coming off a great win at Kentucky that gave Georgia all they wanted.

VS a schedule like Ole Miss whose first 3 games have been against Furman in Oxford, Middle Tenn in Oxford, and at Wake Forest who was 4-8 last season and is now 1-2 with a win over NC A&T.

Scheduling does matter.

I think there is a difference in being prepared and being ready. I believe the coaches have the team prepared, they have done the work. Having them ready to play is different to me. Being ready is acting on that preparation, and what I’ve observed so far in three games, is not being ready to act. The lack of enthusiasm tells me they are not ready.

At which point we’ve won 10 games per season. We all want better but let’s not act like he’s Billy Napier

Why? Because you don’t like what I’m saying?

I mean … I brought “receipts”, right? It’s not like I just made shite up — go read the articles for yourself.

UGA seemed like world beaters and they barely escaped a UK team that was blown out by South Carolina at home.

We played like shite and escaped. It’s time they learn and move on.

What if …. sharp and clean SEC teams practice their teams twice as many hours per week as LSU?

They don't

other teams have no illusions about student athletes and make their players practice football 60-80 hours a week?

Considering you are limited to 4 hours of practice per day and you are required to give them 1 day off per week then you can practice a maximum of 20 hours if you have a game that week.

quote:

That would line up well with all we’ve heard about CBK, wouldn’t it?

No it wouldn't.

If someone calls you stupid, that would line up with you posting this garbage post.
